Silent requests

We join you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for inviting us to agree with you in Jesus' name.

We are reminded that our Father hears not only the words we speak but the cries of our hearts that remain unspoken. Romans 8:26 tells us the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. And Matthew 6:8 reminds us your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Even before a word is on our tongue, He knows it completely, as Psalm 139:4 says there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether.

We take comfort that nothing is hidden from Him and that He invites us to bring everything to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 John 5:14 gives us confidence, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We pray together now for each silent request you hold.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace with thanksgiving for all You have done and all You continue to do for us. You see each silent request, You know the depth of every need, every burden, every hope that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect timing. Where there is need, provide. Where there is hurt, bring healing. Where there is confusion, grant wisdom. Where there is sin, grant repentance and forgiveness through the blood of Jesus. Let Your peace guard each heart and let Your will be done in every situation. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Help us to wait patiently upon You and to continue to seek You with all our hearts. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with the requests you are holding quietly before the Lord. We understand some burdens feel too tender or too heavy to put into words, and we honor your choice to bring them to Him in this way.

We want you to know we are standing with you in prayer, even without knowing the details. The Father who sees what is done in secret and hears what is unspoken knows each one completely, and He invites us to keep bringing them to Him with simple trust.

If it helps in the days ahead, you might find a quiet moment to sit before Him and simply name in your heart that you are placing these matters again in His hands. There is peace in knowing we do not have to carry them alone or find perfect words.

We are grateful for your thankful heart, and we join you in thanking Him for His faithful care. We will continue to keep these silent requests before Him with you.

Father, we lift up every silent request our friend is carrying today. You know each need, each worry, each hope behind them. We ask for Your nearness, Your wisdom and Your peace to rest on them, and for Your will to be done in each situation. Help them to feel heard and held by You. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I ask and pray for silent requests- thank you Father for all you do for us, in Jesus' name, Amen

Thank You for the blood of Jesus that allows us to enter into the Holy Place beyond the veil, where You and Your Messiah sit, in Jesus' Name

There is sweet encouragement in the truth that the God of Heaven hears even those prayers which have no voice. As Nehemiah offered a brief, silent prayer before the king, a prayer silent as to any outward sign and perfectly secret, yet it prevailed with God, so your silent requests have already ascended to Him who sees the heart. He knew to whom you were praying, and He knows what you have declared to Him in secret.

You have done well to bring these unspoken burdens to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ. Remember that where God begins a good work He always completes it, and He cannot cast away the soul that trusts in the blood of His Son. Take Him at His word, for it is true humility to believe what God has spoken. He has spoken in His holiness, and therefore we may rejoice even while we wait, knowing that He hears and will act according to His perfect wisdom and mercy.

We join our faith with yours and pray together.

Heavenly Father, You know the silent requests laid before You, every unspoken name and need and burden. You see what we cannot see and You hear the prayer that was offered like the blinking of an eye. We ask that You would answer according to Your holy will, grant grace and peace through Jesus Christ, teach us Your statutes, and help each heart to trust fully in the finished work of Your Son. May Your name be exalted above all our cares, and may we find present rest in You while we rejoice in hope of Your glory. In the name of Jesus our only Savior we pray, Amen.
