Silent requests

We join you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for trusting us to stand with you in prayer. We are grateful that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.

We take comfort in knowing that even when requests remain unspoken, God knows the depths of our hearts. His word reminds us in Matthew 6:8 that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him, and in Psalm 44:21 that God knows the secrets of the heart. We do not need perfect words, for Romans 8:26 tells us In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. And we hold fast to the promise in 1 John 5:14 that This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We pray together now for every silent burden you carry.

Heavenly Father, we lift up these silent requests to Your throne of grace. You see what is hidden, You know every need, every worry, every hope that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect love. Where there is need, provide. Where there is sickness or pain, bring healing and comfort. Where there is anxiety or fear, grant Your peace. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:6-7 that In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Father, let that peace guard this heart now. We thank You for all You do for us, for Your faithfulness, Your mercy that is new every morning, and Your unfailing love. We trust these unspoken matters into Your hands, believing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. We ask all of this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to rest in Him and to keep bringing every care to Him with thanksgiving, even the ones you cannot put into words. He is faithful and He hears you.

We are grateful you shared this with us, even in few words. The way you came simply to the Father with your silent requests, with thanksgiving, encourages us, and we want to stand with you in that same quiet trust.

We do not know the details you are holding before Him, and we do not need to. What steadies us is knowing He does. He sees what is unspoken, He understands the weight and the hope behind each one, and He receives your thanks as worship.

If it helps in the days ahead, keep bringing those same unspoken matters to Him as they come to mind, honestly and briefly, without pressure to explain them perfectly. He is already near and listening.

Father, thank You for our friend who trusts You with what has not been spoken aloud. You know each need, each name, each concern hidden in these silent requests. We ask for Your peace to rest on them, for wisdom where decisions are needed, and for Your gentle provision in each situation according to Your will. Thank You for all You have already done and for Your faithful care ahead. We place these requests in Your hands in Jesus' name, Amen.

It is a sweet comfort that our Heavenly Father hears even those prayers which never reach the lip. You have brought silent requests before His throne, and He who heard Nehemiah when he prayed a brief and silent prayer standing before the king, hears you now. That prayer was not uttered aloud, it had no outward sign, yet it went straight to heaven on the spot, and so do your unspoken petitions.

We join our faith with yours and carry these silent requests to the mercy seat, thanking the Father with you for all He has done. We thank Him that His ear is not heavy, that His heart is tender toward His children, and that when His children ask for good things He does not mock them but gives according to His wisdom and love.

May the Lord grant you grace to trust not in yourself, nor in any vague hope of mercy apart from Christ, but to take Christ as the sinner's Savior and to rest wholly upon His precious blood. It is cheap faith to take Him only as the saints' Savior, but it is the faith of God's elect to come as a sinner just as you are and trust in Him alone. Where God begins a good work He will complete it, and He will not put to shame any soul that trusts in His name.

We pray that the Father, who sees in secret, will answer these silent petitions according to His perfect will, that He will give you peace in waiting, check and guide your spirit, and keep you diligent in His vineyard while you leave all your affairs in His hands. May He teach you from your youth and through all your days, that you may declare His wondrous works, and may you find that His promise, though it tarry, never fails.

Heavenly Father, Thou knowest every silent request now laid before Thee. Thou knowest the need, the burden, the name and the sorrow unspoken. We thank Thee for all Thou hast done and for all Thou wilt do. Grant answers that accord with Thy holy Word and Thy gracious character, draw each heart nearer to the Lord Jesus Christ through whom alone is salvation, and let Thy will be done in all things. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
