Silent requests

We lift up these silent requests before the throne of grace, trusting that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words, as Romans 8:26 tells us: "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." Though we may not know the specifics, we know that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children and works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust, knowing that You see and know every silent burden, every unspoken fear, and every hidden struggle. We ask that You move mightily in these situations, bringing Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and Your wisdom that guides every step (Proverbs 3:5-6). Lord, we surrender these requests to You, for You are faithful and just to hear us. Strengthen the faith of those who are weary, comfort those who are grieving, and provide for those in need. Let Your will be done in every circumstance, and may Your name be glorified. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that while silent prayers are precious to God, there is power in speaking the name of Jesus explicitly in our prayers. Jesus Himself taught us in John 14:13-14: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him into your heart, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you as you continue to seek Him in prayer.

There is more wisdom in a whispered prayer than in the ancient lore of all the schools. The silent petitions you bear upon your heart, breathed out to the Father in the quiet of your soul, are known to Him as thoroughly as if they were shouted from the housetops. Is there anything so confidential that you may not divulge to man, but which you may not pour out before your God? Oh, in full spiritual health we verily unbosom ourselves to the Lord to the very dregs, wearing our heart upon our sleeve as we draw near to the Most High. Yet take heed that this silence is not a cover for coldness or a want of earnestness. For true prayer is pleading with the Most High, spreading our case before Him and then pressing our suit with all the arguments we can muster. Get the promise and then offer the prayer, and the prayer will be answered as sure as God is God; but get your own fancy into your head and you will only have to get it out again.
If these silent requests be for others, then know that intercessory prayer is the sweetest God ever hears. It has stayed plagues, opened prison doors, and turned the hearts of kings. Let your prayer be in their calamities, and persevere though the answer linger. For prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time. But I must also ask: are there hindrances? Unholiness hinders prayer. Sometimes there may be great sin in the prayer itself, our greatest sins are often connected with our holiest things. And so I chide myself if I am lax in private devotion, for we need to be quickened there: quickened in private prayer, quickened in all forms of worship. Yet be not content with a prayer that never reaches the heart of God: a prayer in which you have no fellowship with the invisible Jehovah is not a right prayer to pray.
If, like Peter, you cry, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man,” then let faith prevent humility from degenerating into unbelief, and cry also, “Come nearer to me, Lord.” The covenant is ordered in all things and sure, not the result of your tears or vows, but the cause of them. So bring your silent burdens and spread them before Him who hears in secret. He will separate the chaff from the wheat, accept what is good, and forgive the dross. And know that your praying is itself an index of life, the Spirit who quickens has already taken up His abode.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Father, thank You for a praying mom, 2 Tim 1:5. We ask for our children to grow in wisdom, stature, favor with God and man -- like Jesus did, Luke 2:52. We ask You grant health to all the offspring of the church, Ex 15:26, Ex 23:25, Ps 103:3, especially because of Your Son Jesus Christ's work on the cross, Isa 53:4-5. Father, we ask they grow up knowing the Scriptures, 2 tim 3:15-16. Thank You in Jesus' Name.
"Their descendants will be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed." Isaiah 61:9.
