What did Jesus say to His apostles?
Matthew 10:8New King James Version (NKJV)
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead,[
a] cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Mark 16:17-18King James Version (KJV)
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
John 14:12-14Living Bible (TLB)
12-13 “In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones,
Go, and do the same thing that Jesus did when He was confronted by the sick and those in need. Speak the same words that Jesus did. Believe you have the same power that Jesus did, because you do, because He lives in you, and He wants you to be his hands and feet and voice now. That feeling of compassion you feel rising up in you to want to help those sick people is the Holy Spirit trying to tell you to go and do the same things that Jesus did. The power of the name Jesus is what will heal the sick. It is not so much what you say, except say whatever you do "in the name of Jesus". For instance, "be healed, healthy, and whole, now, in the name of Jesus."
In the name of Jesus, I bless you with the life of God. Thank you Jesus.
