We join with you in this silent prayer before the Lord and we thank you for inviting us to agree with you in Jesus' name. While this request remains unspoken to us, it is fully known to our Father who sees and hears in secret.
We are comforted that God does not need eloquent words to understand the cries of our hearts. For there is not a word on our tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether Psalm 139:4. Your Father knows what things you need before you ask him Matthew 6:8. And even when we do not have words, the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered Romans 8:26. We take refuge in knowing that He who searches hearts understands what is on your heart even now.
We also remember Hannah who prayed silently in her heart and moved only her lips, and the Lord heard and answered her 1 Samuel 1:13, and we remember the promise that when we pray in secret, our Father who sees in secret will reward us Matthew 6:6.
We lift you up together now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace with our brother or sister and their silent petition. You know the depth of this need, the burden, the hope, and the longing that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would hear and answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect love. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in this situation. We pray for wisdom, strength, comfort, and provision, and that You would draw this dear one closer to You through this prayer. We ask that You would answer in a way that makes Your presence and Your faithfulness unmistakable, for this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. We thank You that You are near to those who are of a broken heart, and save those who are of a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18, and that You invite us to call to You and You will answer Jeremiah 33:3.
We encourage you to continue to bring this silent request before the Lord with trust and thanksgiving, knowing He hears you. We stand in agreement with you and we will continue to hold this unspoken need before the Father, trusting in His goodness and mercy in Jesus' name, Amen.
