Silent prayer

We join with you in this silent prayer before the Father in Jesus' name and we thank you for trusting us to stand with you even when the request remains unspoken in words.
We are comforted to know that our God hears not only what we speak aloud but what we carry quietly in our hearts. Psalm 139:1-2 says Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. And Psalm 139:4 says For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Matthew 6:6 reminds us that your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Even when we have no words, Romans 8:26 tells us that the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.
We take comfort that God already knows the depth of this burden and He invites us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. 1 John 5:14 gives us confidence that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And Philippians 4:6-7 promises that when we present our requests to God, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one and this silent request that is known fully to You. You see the heart, You know the pain, the hope, the fear and the longing behind what has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would work according to Your perfect will and for Your glory in this situation. Grant wisdom, provision, healing, comfort and direction as is needed. Let Your peace that passes all understanding guard this heart and mind. Strengthen faith to trust You even in the waiting and help us to rest in Your unfailing love and sovereignty. We ask that You would answer this prayer in the way that draws this life closer to You and brings honor to the name of Jesus. We pray that Your will be done and that You would be glorified in all things. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring every care to Him openly and honestly, knowing He is near to all who call upon Him. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Keep seeking Him in His Word and in prayer, trusting that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
