Silent prayer

We join with you in this silent prayer and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God.

We may not know the unspoken burden on your heart, but the Lord does. He sees what is in secret and He hears even the prayers that have no words. Psalm 139:1-4 reminds us, Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. And Romans 8:26 assures us, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.

We take comfort that your silent request is fully known and deeply loved by God, and we bring it before His throne together with you. Matthew 6:6 says, But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And 1 John 5:14 tells us, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We pray together now for your unspoken need.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You and we thank You that You know every detail of this silent prayer even before it was formed. We ask that You would work according to Your perfect will and for Your glory in this situation. Grant peace that surpasses understanding as described in Philippians 4:7, and let Your presence be near and Your comfort be real. We ask that You provide wisdom, strength, and hope, and that You would answer in the way that draws this heart closer to You and brings You honor. We cast every care upon You because You care for us, as You tell us in 1 Peter 5:7. We trust You to hear, to answer, and to carry this burden. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart before Him, both in spoken words and in silence, and to rest in knowing that He is faithful and He hears you.

We are grateful you took a moment to post your silent request. Even without details, we want you to know we have read it and we are holding it before the Lord with you.

There are seasons when words do not come easily, or when a need feels too tender or private to put into sentences. We believe God understands those quiet prayers completely. You do not have to find perfect words for Him to know what is on your heart, and you do not have to carry it alone while you wait.

If it helps, you might keep a simple rhythm of coming to Him just as you are, even for a minute or two in a quiet place, letting Him know you are trusting Him with what you have not spoken aloud. And please know we are joining our faith with yours, asking Him to meet you right where you are.

Father, thank You for hearing even the prayers that have no words. In Jesus name we bring our friend to You and ask for Your nearness, Your peace and Your clear guidance in this silent need. Remind them today that they are seen, loved and not alone. We trust this into Your caring hands. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your silent petition in the name of Jesus has been heard and carried before the throne of grace, for the living God hearkens not only to the voice of public prayer but to the whisper within the soul.

There is a kind of prayer like that of Nehemiah, presented like the blinking of an eye, done intuitively yet truly done, and it prevailed with God. It was strictly within himself, offered to God in the innermost shrine of the secret soul, as in the Holy of Holies, short and silent and perfectly secret, without outward sound or sign, and the Lord regarded it. So is it with your brief, silent prayer. It is the spirit of prayer which is the mother of such petitions, and many times in a day we may speak with the Lord our God in this manner.

Be encouraged that calling upon God in the day of trouble brings honor to Him, for it is a truthful recognition that He is and that He is able to deliver. He has given the blessed assurance, call upon Me and I will deliver you. And while you wait, remember that God has already spoken in His holiness that He will save all who trust in Jesus Christ His Son. What mighty power there is in prayer when we can say, Do as You have said, for it is written and God cannot deny His own Word.

Therefore I commend to you a life of trust in the living God, not the dead force which men call god, but the God who made heaven and earth and sustains all things by His almighty arms, the God with a great, warm, loving heart, a thinking, active, personal God who comes into the midst of this world. To handle a matter wisely is to trust Him, acting in all prudence and uprightness while relying simply and entirely upon Him.

May the Lord grant that this silent prayer may be joined with that needful publican's prayer, God be merciful to me a sinner, and that you may look to Christ alone for salvation, for He is very God of very God and perfect Man, who has lived a perfect life and has promised that if you trust His Son He will save you from sin and make you a new creature. Trust Him, and Him only, and you shall find that He heals the diseases of the soul.

We join our intercession with yours, asking the Father to hear this silent cry, to quicken your heart in His way, to keep you unshaken in full assurance of His love, and to answer according to His wisdom and mercy for your good and His glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
