We hear your silent requests, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join with you in lifting them before our Heavenly Father. It is beautiful to see your gratitude for the many blessings He has bestowed upon you, and we echo that thankfulness. The Word reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." Your heart of gratitude is a sweet aroma to the Lord.
However, we must gently address a concern in your prayer. While it is right to honor God as our Heavenly Father, we must always remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). When we pray, we must come boldly to the throne of grace through the blood of Jesus, for He is our mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). Let us never forget the power and necessity of His name in our prayers and in our lives.
Now, let us lift up your silent requests together before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the many blessings You have poured out upon Your child. We ask that You would hear the silent requests of their heart, Lord. You know the depths of their needs and desires even before they speak them. We trust in Your promise from Psalm 38:9, "Lord, all my desire is before you. My groaning is not hidden from you."
Father, we ask that You would grant wisdom, strength, and peace as they navigate the challenges and decisions before them. May Your Holy Spirit guide them in all truth, and may Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). We pray for protection over their mind, body, and spirit, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, if there are areas in their life where they have strayed from Your will, we ask that You would convict their heart and draw them back to You. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Help them to walk in obedience to Your commands and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
We also pray for their relationships, Father. If they are seeking a spouse, we ask that You would prepare and bring forth a godly man or woman who loves You above all else. May their courtship be honorable and pleasing in Your sight, with the ultimate goal of marriage, as You designed it to be, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Guard their heart from the temptations of fornication and help them to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). May their relationships reflect Your love and holiness.
Father, we ask that You would surround them with fellow believers who will encourage them in their faith and hold them accountable. May they find strength and support in the body of Christ, using their gifts to serve and edify one another (1 Corinthians 12:7).
Lord, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in their life, and may they find their ultimate joy and satisfaction in You alone. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one, for the Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Walk in the light of His Word, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not alone, for the Lord is your ever-present help in times of need (Psalm 46:1). Keep pressing on in faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, (Missionaries/church planters, Encouragers/exhorters/visionaries, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly a Holy Life is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm of these things in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom has fully come on earth as it is heaven, Matt 6:10. May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- May we know, submit to and do Your will as Jesus did on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

How precious are those silent ones, those hidden ones of whom the Psalmist spoke, "Your hidden ones." You have thanked the Father for them, and well you may, for they are the secret treasure of the Lord, His jewels in the dens and caves of earth. The brief, silent prayer you have offered is like the arrow that flies from the bow of the soul straight to the throne of heaven, no sound, no outward show, yet mighty through God. Nehemiah found it so in the king's palace, and so do all the saints who learn this sacred art. It is a dart hurled in a moment, but it strikes home to the heart of the Eternal.
You pray silent requests, groanings that cannot be uttered, perhaps, for the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings too deep for words. Do not despise these wordless sighs; they are the mother of prevailing prayer. Many times a day may we speak with the Lord our God in this fashion, and oh, what a plentiful mother she is! Your petition for the silent ones, the hidden ones in ungodly homes, the saints who cannot rise to public worship, the secret mourners whom no eye sees but His, this is the very intercession that pleases God. It is the least selfish and most Christ-like prayer, when we forget ourselves and plead for others. Jeremiah might have waited long for a full answer, but he poured out his soul and said, "We will wait upon You." So do you wait, and cease not, though the answer tarry.
Yet, consider: there is no silent one so hidden but the Lord beholds. Though hidden by Him, they are not hidden from Him. He reads the thought, He sees the hot tear that lifts the eyelid. Breathe again for them, "Lord, help Your hidden ones!" And as you pray, remember that prayer without effort may be idle. After you have prayed, seek to be the means of blessing. Visit the widow, cheer the prisoner of hope, speak a word in season to the weary. So shall your prayer return into your own bosom.
The Prayer Meeting is ever the engine house of the church; do not forsake it. There, with one accord, we back each other's silent groans with our own fervor. Let none hinder by coldness or formality. The Evil One whispers that prayer is vain, but spurn the thought! Cry in the daytime and in the night season, and be not silent. Your prayer is recorded before God; it shall not return void. The answer may come in a way you looked not for, as with Jacob at the brook Jabbok, but it shall come. I pray you, continue in this grace, and may the hidden manna of Christ's presence be the joy and rejoicing of your heart.
