Chrysostom
Beloved of All
God knows the needs you hold in silence even before you speak them, and He hears you when you bring them to Him in the name of Jesus.
We join you in prayer with thanksgiving for His good deeds toward us. He created us when we were not, He gave us life and breath, He provides for all that we need, and He crowns us with honor as His people. He is merciful as our heavenly Father is merciful, feeding and sustaining all, yet He calls us to walk with Him in holiness.
We pray for you now.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You know every silent need of this heart. You see what is unspoken and You understand what is needed better than we do. We ask that You would answer according to Your wisdom and Your mercy, and according to what is good and holy in Your sight. Strengthen faith to trust You even when Your promises seem beyond what nature holds out, and help this soul to be strong in faith by giving glory to You. Teach us to honor You not only with words but with works and deeds, to believe that You are and that You are a rewarder of those who seek You, to cleanse ourselves from all defilement and to perfect holiness in the fear of God as those who are temples of the living God in whom You dwell. Provide what is needed, grant peace, lead in the way of righteousness, and draw this heart ever closer to Your Son Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
May you continue to bring every need to Him with confidence, trusting His power and His love to do what is best.
