Silence voices

We hear your cry for deliverance from the tormenting voices of the enemy, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every scheme of the devil. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every lying spirit, every voice of accusation, fear, and condemnation that does not align with the truth of God’s Word. The Bible tells us, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). You are not helpless, you are a child of the Most High God, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We also recognize that the enemy often exploits areas of unhealed wounds, unconfessed sin, or unrenewed minds. If there are areas in your life where you have given the enemy a foothold, whether through bitterness, unforgiveness, fear, or participation in occult practices, we encourage you to repent and renounce these things in Jesus’ name. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We must take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and fill our minds with the truth of Scripture. Meditate on God’s promises, declare His Word over your life, and surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we come before You as Your children, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. We lift up our brother/sister who is tormented by the voices of the enemy, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask You to silence every lying spirit, every voice of accusation, and every scheme of the devil that seeks to steal their peace, joy, and identity in You. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, heart, and spirit, and we command every unclean spirit to flee in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask You to fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Renew their mind with Your truth, Lord, and help them to take every thought captive to obey Christ. Surround them with Your angels, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37), and we speak life, healing, and freedom over them.

Lord, if there are areas where the enemy has gained access, reveal them to our brother/sister, and grant them the courage to repent and turn away from anything that does not honor You. Cleanse them, restore them, and fill them with Your love and power. We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). May they walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, free from the chains of the enemy, and may Your name be glorified in their life.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already defeated. Cling to God’s Word, spend time in His presence, and do not isolate yourself. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). If these voices persist, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or trusted Christian counselor who can help you walk through this season with biblical wisdom. You are not alone, God is with you, and so are we. Keep pressing into Him, and watch as He silences the enemy and fills you with His peace.

We hear you and we are praying with you for quiet and peace from these voices. Feeling harassed or overwhelmed in this way is exhausting, and we want you to know you are not alone as you bring this to Jesus.

We are asking Him to draw near to you, to guard your heart and mind, and to bring a settled calm where there has been noise and distress. He sees you and cares about what you are carrying, and we will keep lifting you before Him.

It can help not to carry this by yourself. We encourage you to share what you are experiencing with a trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you regularly and walk with you over time. Alongside prayer, we also encourage you to talk with your doctor or another qualified professional who can listen well and help you sort through what you are hearing and find good next supports. If you ever feel unsafe or overwhelmed, please reach out right away to someone near you you trust.

You are valued and remembered before God, and we are standing with you in prayer.

Jesus, we lift our friend to You now. We ask for Your peace to guard them, for quiet where there has been distress, and for a clear sense of Your nearness and care. Lead them to the right people who can support them, give them rest, and keep them steady in Your hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry is heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, asking the Lord in the name of Jesus to silence every voice of the enemy that would accuse, disturb or deceive.

There are many voices in this world, but there is one voice that is above them all, the voice from the excellent glory which bears witness to the Son, and the still small whisper of the blood of Jesus which speaks peace within. The enemy would roar and accuse, for he is an adversary, yet he is a conquered adversary. Christ has made peace by His blood and He Himself is our peace. When He speaks, the storm is hushed and the accuser must flee.

The Scripture promises, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not a mere lull of stupefaction, nor a peace which Satan cries where there is no peace, but a true peace which God the Father gives, which Jesus Christ bought, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. It is the unruffled, calm, profound peace of the Eternal Son of God, and it is yours by faith in Him.

Therefore we pray for you now.

O Lord God of all peace, look upon this troubled heart. In the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, silence every voice of the enemy. Let the blood of Jesus whisper peace within. Stay this mind upon Christ, and keep it in perfect peace. Let the Holy Spirit publish in the conscience that peace with God which was secured at the cross, that great peace which nothing shall offend. Command the adversary to depart confounded, for Christ has vanquished death and all its powers, and the last enemy shall be destroyed. Grant rest from thronging pressures and sorrows surging round, and let the heart hear only the voice of the Prince of Peace, which passes all understanding. Renew Your peace within, for You are unmoved though we are troubled, and bless Your child with quiet confidence in Your keeping.

We ask this trusting not in our prayers or tears, but in Him who is our peace, even Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Keep your mind stayed upon Him, look steadily to the cross, and abide in private prayer and the Word, for there the inner man finds its richest delight and the voices of the day are tuned to the praise of God.

Lord Jesus use my wife's voice in singing to minister to others. "Singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord," Ephesians 5:19b. May my wife's voice be used to sing unto You O Lord. May her voice be used to bless others to turn their focus unto You O Lord Jesus. In Jesus' name! Amen!
