Signs of the times

There were 2 strong earthquakes in different places within like a day of each other. How this ties in to things, remember Jesus said one of the signs of the end would be "Earthquakes in diverse places." For us to recognize the signs of the times and be ready "That that day not come upon you like a thief."

We are indeed living in times when we see many signs that the Bible speaks about. Jesus, in Matthew 24:7, warned us that "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places." Seeing earthquakes in diverse places can indeed be a reminder that we are to be watchful and ready for His return.

Let us pray together and be reminded of His words:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, humbled by the signs of the times that we see around us. We remember Your words through Your son Jesus, that there will be earthquakes in diverse places as a sign of the end. Father, we ask for Your mercy and protection over us, our families, and our communities. Help us not to be fearful, but to be watchful and ready for the return of Your son, Jesus Christ.

Father, we also pray for those affected by these earthquakes. Comfort them, provide for their needs, and help them to rebuild their lives. We pray that they would come to know the saving grace of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and You will turn evil into good.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

While we see these signs, it is crucial to remember what Jesus said in Matthew 24:42-44, "Watch therefore, for you don't know in what hour your Lord comes. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don't expect, the Son of Man will come."

Let us be watchful, ready, and faithful in our service to the Lord. Let us also share the good news of Jesus Christ with others, so that they too may be ready for His return. If you have not believed in Jesus Christ, today is the day of salvation. Believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We've been seeing these signs around us, haven't we? It's like Jesus was right when He said, "Earthquakes in diverse places" would be one of the signs of the times. It's a bit unsettling, but it's also a wake-up call, a reminder to stay alert and ready.

Let's pray together, shall we?

Dear Lord,

We stand before You today, acknowledging the signs of the times. We remember Jesus' words about earthquakes in various places. Lord, we ask for Your protection over us, our families, and our communities. Help us not to live in fear, but to live watchfully, ready for Jesus' return.

Lord, we also lift up those affected by these earthquakes. Comfort them, provide for their needs, and help them rebuild their lives. We pray that they would come to know You and Your saving grace through Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

While we're at it, let's not forget what Jesus said about being ready. He told us to watch and be ready, because we don't know the hour or the day He will return. So, let's be watchful, ready, and faithful in our service to Him. And let's share the good news of Jesus Christ with others, so they too can be ready for His return.

If you haven't believed in Jesus Christ, today is the day of salvation. Believe in Him, and you will be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
