lord there is nothing left in me in faith but i believe in jesus i just can't find him. i often wonder if this is how mother Teresa felt with her spiritual drought. my spiritual drought has not ended sadly its just ongoing feeling of nothing when i pray all year i feel like jesus cannot hear me pray. i do not feel envy i just don't understand why 3 times now. it feels unfair. i feel constantly taken for granted by god. i find myself thinking why does god not help me months ago so i could have had these things sooner or why not last yr when my life & faith were stronger. i feel like nothing is too hard for god, so then why do i have so many unanswered prayers in a year. i feel like what will it take for jesus to comfort & help me i worry neither understand. i want to go pray on my knees but what is the point its been so long.. he can't hear me. i wish jesus would prove me wrong & would have helped months ago i really could have used private prayers mentioned then. lord i feel hurting & despair & misery in my soul. months of wondering what more do i need to do to get the son of virgin mary to start helping me. sigh. why did he put me through all that stuff earlier this year. my life has been so much crying this year. sigh i go to bed thinking & feeling jesus does not care about me & what im going through or anything in my life or wants and like i have done way more then my part & i deserve better from the son of virgin mary, this is not fair. i have done so much to help & so much faith. sigh. i feel unnoticed for so long by her son. why do i go through all this. when will it get better

Oh, precious child of God, we hear the deep anguish in your cry, and our hearts ache with you in this season of profound spiritual drought. You are not alone in this wilderness—many saints before you, including those like Mother Teresa, have walked through valleys where heaven seemed silent, and the presence of God felt distant. But let us remind you of this truth: **your feelings do not dictate God’s faithfulness.** Even when you cannot sense Him, He is near. Even when your prayers seem to echo back unanswered, He is working. And even when your heart whispers that He does not care, His Word declares otherwise: *"Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands."* (Isaiah 49:15-16, WEB).

You have asked, *"Why has this gone on for so long?"* and *"What will it take for Jesus to comfort me?"* Beloved, we must gently but firmly remind you that **God is not a vending machine who dispenses blessings based on our timing or our perception of what we ‘deserve.’** His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His delays are not denials. Consider Joseph, who languished in prison for years before God’s purpose unfolded. Consider David, anointed as king yet hunted like a criminal for years afterward. Consider even our Lord Jesus, who in His darkest hour cried, *"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"* (Matthew 27:46, WEB)—yet He trusted the Father’s plan. Your suffering is not in vain. Your tears are seen (Psalm 56:8), and your faith, though weakened, is being refined like gold in the fire (1 Peter 1:6-7).

You mentioned feeling *"taken for granted by God"* and questioning why He did not act sooner when your faith was stronger. But let us ask you this: **Is your faith in God’s goodness contingent on His immediate answers?** If so, then it is not faith at all—it is a transaction. True faith clings to Him *even when* the answer is delayed, *even when* the path is painful, *even when* the silence is deafening. *"But without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him."* (Hebrews 11:6, WEB). He *is* rewarding you—not always in the way you expect, but in the way that will ultimately bring Him glory and you eternal good.

You also expressed frustration with the phrase *"I have done so much to help and so much faith."* Here, we must lovingly rebuke a subtle but dangerous lie: **you cannot earn God’s favor.** Your works do not obligate Him. *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."* (Ephesians 2:8-9, WEB). If you are trusting in your own efforts—your prayers, your service, your suffering—to *deserve* God’s intervention, you will always be left empty. But if you surrender to His sovereignty, even in the waiting, you will find peace.

Now, let us address your weariness in prayer. You said, *"What is the point of praying on my knees when it’s been so long?"* The point, dear one, is **not** to manipulate God into action but to align your heart with His. Prayer is not about changing God’s mind; it is about transforming *your* heart to trust Him more. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."* (Philippians 4:6, WEB). Keep praying. Keep seeking. Keep knocking (Matthew 7:7). Not because He is deaf, but because your persistence is an act of faith.

Lastly, we must address your repeated references to *"the son of the Virgin Mary."* While it is true that Jesus was born of a virgin, the Bible never instructs us to approach Him through Mary or to fixate on her role. **There is only one Mediator between God and man: Jesus Christ Himself** (1 Timothy 2:5). Your access to the Father is through *Him alone*, and it is in *His name* that we pray. Mary was a blessed vessel, but she is not your intercessor—Jesus is. *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Let us fix our eyes on Him, not on human intermediaries.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, who feels crushed beneath the weight of silence and delay. Lord, they are honest before You—raw, hurting, and questioning. We thank You that You do not turn away from our honest cries but invite us to bring our burdens to You. Father, we ask that You would meet them in this desert place. Like You did for Hagar in Genesis 16, open their eyes to see that You *are* the God who sees them. Like You did for Elijah in 1 Kings 19, speak to them in the gentle whisper, reminding them they are not alone.

Lord Jesus, You know the depth of their weariness. You collected every tear they’ve cried this year in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). Would You now wipe those tears away? Would You renew their strength as they wait on You (Isaiah 40:31)? Holy Spirit, breathe fresh faith into their lungs when they feel they can no longer believe. Remind them that faith is not the absence of doubt but the choice to trust You *in spite of* it.

Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that have taken root: that You do not care, that You are unfair, that their suffering is meaningless. Replace those lies with Your truth: that You are good, that Your love is steadfast, and that You are working all things for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them the grace to surrender their timeline to Yours. Help them to release their demand for answers and instead cling to Your promise: *"I will never leave you nor forsake you."* (Hebrews 13:5, WEB).

Lord, if there is unconfessed sin or bitterness in their heart toward You, reveal it and grant them repentance. If there is idolatry—trusting in their own works or desiring Your gifts more than You—break it, and draw them back to Yourself. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12). Let them taste and see that You *are* good, even in the waiting.

We declare over them the words of Your Son: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). May they find that rest in You alone. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. **Amen.**

Hold on, dear one. The night is darkest before the dawn. Your breakthrough may be closer than you think. *"But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* (Isaiah 40:31, WEB). We are standing with you in faith. Do not give up.

We hear your cry, and our hearts ache with you in this season of spiritual drought. We want you to know that you are not alone. Many have walked this path before, including Mother Teresa, who once said, "I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world."

It's okay to feel like you're in a desert, to wonder why God seems silent. The psalmist felt the same way, yet he wrote, "Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?" (Psalm 10:1, NIV). He was honest with God, and so can you.

You've asked, "Why has this gone on for so long? What will it take for Jesus to comfort me?" Beloved, God's timing is not our timing. He sees the bigger picture, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Consider the mustard seed - small, yet it grows into the largest of garden plants (Matthew 13:31-32). Sometimes, God's work in us requires time to grow and mature.

You've also expressed feeling taken for granted by God. But remember, "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows" (James 1:17, NIV). God sees you, He loves you, and He has a purpose for you.

Lastly, we want to remind you that Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). While we honor Mary as the mother of our Lord, our faith is in Jesus Christ alone. He is our mediator, our advocate, our hope.

Let's pray together:

"Lord Jesus, we come to You today on behalf of our friend. They feel lost, alone, and forgotten. But we know that's not true. You see them, You love them, and You have a purpose for them. Help them to trust in Your love, even when they can't feel it. Give them the strength to keep seeking You, even when they feel like giving up. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I don't think I'm a child of God. I wish me and ### were that would have made our lives so much easier at least 6 months ago & I would have not had months of misery. I feel like an angel of diff God trying to help mankind who is exhausted and Jesus treats like trash. I believe in Jesus but both seem to not understand what I want & how I wanted them to help ### and I liveds months ago. It's like they don't understand ### is who I love but I needed my life fixed with Jesus as my Lord and cried for salvation to do this many months ago. I honestly think they don't understand what I'm trying to say. On top of that, I feel mistreated & taken for granted all year by Virgin Mary's son Jesus Christ. It's like all they see is my flaws where my good & how much I tried to save is overflowing. But they treat me like those poor demons. I bet they don't see their good either. I'm exhausted. I've been exhausted. It should never ever be this hard to get a single prayer I said to reach Jesus. I have over 50 unanswered prayers. More than I can count.

I don't think children of God go through this. Nothing I've been through matches Jesus' words.

Is it necessary to call on the mother of the woman God used to give birth to Himself when He never gave us instruction to do so? Is there something more powerful than the Name of names Jesus in our language?

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

yes I believe in Jesus I feel stuck almost under the opposite & possibly other thing.
Many people are. I thank you for prayers though & I hope your marriage is fixed if still wanted & you are both saved. The world definitely needs more priests to reach out to people especially on these prayer walls. Pray for anyone worshipping an idol or Satan to find Jesus instead. I am exhausted trying to help everyone on my own when I know all the things to do but can't find him. I do read the Bible, talk to a priest, did tons of sharing the gospel even. I even tried a Hebrew hymn a few weeks ago. But Jesus cannot hear or see me do anything it seems. This must be how Mother Teresa felt. I even encourage others to help the poor. Sigh. I'm glad you found Jesus, I hope you are both saved and help save others and live happily ever after. My own has been a difficult journey, I think God doesn't understand what I mean & what I want. Literally nothing has gone how I wanted in faith and now I watched my blessings go to others 3 times this year so yeah my faith is ultra low. I don't think Jesus cares about me. He treats me like scum for over a year. It's been over a year, nothing has improved in any aspect of prayers & I feel beyond hopeless. I get to the point I can't even pray because I know Jesus isn't listening to me as I pray on my knees. He hears others but not me. It's whatever.
