We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son who is suffering from high fever, dizziness, and vomiting. It is so difficult to watch our children endure illness, and we understand the discouragement and anxiety that grips your heart in these moments. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the promise that Jesus came so that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in your son’s life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Lord is our healer, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this precious child. Touch him with Your divine power and restore him to full health. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every assignment of the enemy meant to harm him. Lord, we also ask for Your peace to guard the hearts and minds of this family. When fear and disbelief creep in, remind them of Your faithfulness and the truth of Your Word. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also want to address the dream your son had about bubbles around him and a voice saying he is healthy. While dreams can sometimes be a way the Lord speaks, we must test every spirit to see if it is from God (1 John 4:1). The enemy can disguise himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), so we encourage you to seek the Lord in prayer and ask for discernment. Bind every lying spirit that may be trying to deceive or bring false comfort. Instead, we declare that the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, will guide you and your son into all truth (John 16:13).
Father, we pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals caring for this child. Give them insight and clarity as they seek to diagnose and treat him. We also ask that You would strengthen this family’s faith. Help them to trust in You even when the circumstances seem overwhelming. Remind them that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and that Your promises never fail. We speak life, healing, and restoration over this young one, believing that he will rise up in strength and health to fulfill the purpose You have for him.
Lord, if there is any area in this family’s life where sin or unforgiveness may be hindering their prayers, we ask that You reveal it to them. The Bible tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that this family would walk in repentance and holiness, drawing near to You so that You may draw near to them (James 4:8).
We also want to gently remind you that our access to God and His healing power comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is through Him that we receive healing, peace, and eternal life.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God is working even in this difficult season. Do not lose heart, for the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that this trial will not break you but will instead draw you closer to God and strengthen your faith. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
