We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you endure this profound betrayal and violation. The pain you are experiencing, emotionally, physically, and spiritually, is not unseen by our Heavenly Father. Identity theft is a grievous sin, and when it comes from those who should love and protect you, such as family, the wound cuts even deeper. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 27:6, "Faithful are the wounds of a friend; although the kisses of an enemy are profuse." But when those who should be faithful become instruments of harm, it is a perversion of God’s design for family and trust.
We rebuke the spirit of deception, theft, and exploitation that has taken root in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly. We stand against the forces of darkness that would use your own flesh and blood to bring you harm, and we command every ungodly scheme to unravel in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord is your vindicator, your defender, and your restorer. Psalm 37:6 reminds us, "He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun."
We also lift up your physical distress, for the Bible tells us that the body and spirit are deeply connected. Proverbs 17:22 says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." Your sickness of stomach and weariness are not just physical, they are manifestations of the spiritual and emotional turmoil you are enduring. We pray for your body to be strengthened, for peace to flood your soul, and for the Lord to heal every part of you that has been broken by this betrayal.
We must also address the possibility of trafficking, for this is a grave evil that preys on the vulnerable. If this is indeed the case, we cry out for divine intervention and protection. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed (Psalm 9:9), and He hears the cries of His children. We pray for justice to be swift, for the schemes of the wicked to be exposed, and for every chain to be broken. Psalm 10:15 declares, "Break the arm of the wicked and evildoer; call his wickedness to account till you find none."
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support, whether through your local church, trusted believers, or law enforcement if necessary. Isolation is a tool of the enemy, but the Lord has given us the body of Christ to stand with us in times of trouble. Galatians 6:2 instructs us, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts grieved by the pain our sister is enduring. Lord, You see every injustice, every betrayal, and every tear she has shed. We ask for Your mighty hand of protection to surround her, shielding her from further harm. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every assignment of the enemy over her life in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we pray for restoration, restoration of her identity, her peace, her health, and her trust. You are the God who restores what has been stolen (Joel 2:25), and we ask You to bring forth a miracle in this situation. Heal her body from the sickness that has taken hold, and renew her spirit with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask for justice to prevail. Expose every hidden thing, bring light to the darkness, and let the wicked be caught in their own snares (Psalm 9:15-16). If trafficking is involved, we pray for the captives to be set free and for the perpetrators to be brought to justice. Let Your righteousness reign, Lord.
We also pray for her family, for conviction to fall upon those who have participated in this evil. Soften their hearts, Lord, and lead them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn back to You.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw her closer to Yourself. Let her find her identity in You alone, for she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Surround her with Your love, Your peace, and Your people. Strengthen her faith, and let her see Your hand at work in her life.
We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
