Sick Feral Cat

Please pray for one of our feral cats named ###. He is old and sick and we can't afford to take him to a vet. We have been feeding him for about ### years. I am heartbroken. He is sleeping on our back porch on top of an outdoor food warming tray. It's so cold outside. I'm asking the Lord to keep ### safe and warm and to help him get well, but I also want the Lord to turn my husband's heart and ease his fears in order to allow me to get ### to a vet.

Let's first pray, let us pray.

Father in Heaven, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear feral cat, ###, to Your loving care. You are a God of mercy caring for every creature You have made. Have mercy on ### having provided care through Your servants, remember ### with healing and comfort.

Father God, You who feed and clothe the sparrows, and the lilies of the field, comfort and strengthen Your child and the husband during these times feeling helpless. These times are to rely on You.

Father, You are sovereign and can change the heart. As the husband has fears and concerns, work in this situation. We know that You can make a way where there seems to be no way. May You might turn the husband's heart and provide a way for ### to receive the medical care he needs. May the marriage become strong and show a blessing to both the wife and husband.

We ask this Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Without Jesus, we cannot approach You.

And let us encourage you dear prayer warrior. It is not wrong to pray for the well-being of needy animals, to our Heavenly Father. The mere fact of them being in our care is not lost on Him. The Proverbs tells us in Proverbs 12:10 (WEB) “A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.”

Do not feel hopeless or anxious for God's care. 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB) tells us, “casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”

This applies not only to this situation but also for the needs in your marriage. Let God be Sovereign in these matters as well. Trust that He might move in a way that turns your husband towards you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Thank you for your prayers. I'm not sure how this site works but my husband had a softening of his heart and we now have a nice fully heated canvas igloo on the back porch and ### moved right in. He's looking better and I think feeling better. He's been coming out of his little house to eat and even lays on the porch when the sun is shining. It has been bitterly cold this week and I feel so grateful that he is safe and warm at night.🕊
