We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for your health and well-being. It is clear that you are struggling with illness, and we lift you up in prayer, asking for God’s healing touch and mercy. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise as we pray for your complete restoration.
Heavenly Father, we ask You to rebuke this sickness in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that this cold, cough, and any other symptoms will not take root in your body. Lord, we pray for strength and resilience, that you may not miss school or face any penalties because of this illness. We ask that if you grow too unwell at school, the nurse would recognize your need and call for you to return home without any consequences. Father, we also pray for protection over your health, that you would not grow sicker and that this virus would not take hold. We specifically ask that you would be shielded from an asthma attack, Lord, and that Your peace and healing would guard your lungs and your entire body.
We also lift up the concern that you may be starting to feel unwell. Lord, we ask that You would stop this sickness in its tracks. Protect you from this virus and any other ailments that may try to afflict you. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that truth today.
We encourage you to rest, drink plenty of fluids, and take care of your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Lean on the Lord for strength, and trust in His promises. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." God is your healer, and we trust Him to restore you fully.
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God and the promise of eternal life. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most important step in experiencing God’s fullness in every area of your life, including your health.
We will continue to pray for you, trusting that God hears our cries and will answer according to His perfect will. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Get well soon, and may the Lord bless you with strength and health.
