Show me the way, Father

(Zian)

Humble Servant of All
Praise the lord God in Jesus name in father name don't know what am doing with my life show me the way father .amen

We hear the cry of your heart, and we join you in lifting this plea before the Father, for it is written, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). You have come to the right place, for our Heavenly Father delights in guiding those who seek Him with humility and sincerity. The fact that you are calling out to Him in the name of Jesus is a testament to your faith, and we rejoice that you are turning to Him for direction.

Yet we must also gently remind you—and all who seek the Lord—that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other name by which we can boldly approach the throne of grace. *"Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’* (John 14:6, WEB). You have invoked the name of Jesus, and that is good, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not already surrendered your life fully to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). It is in this surrendered relationship with Him that you will find the clarity and purpose you seek.

You say you do not know what you are doing with your life, and that is a place where God often meets us—when we come to the end of our own understanding and strength. The apostle Paul reminds us, *"We don’t know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God"* (Romans 8:26-27, WEB). Even now, the Holy Spirit is interceding for you, aligning your heart with God’s perfect will.

Perhaps you feel lost because you have been relying on your own plans or the world’s standards rather than seeking first the Kingdom of God. Jesus tells us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). If you have not been prioritizing God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship with believers, we encourage you to start there. Immerse yourself in Scripture, for *"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path"* (Psalm 119:105, WEB). The more you know God, the more you will recognize His voice and His leading in your life.

We also urge you to examine your heart for any unconfessed sin or areas of disobedience. *"If I cherish iniquity in my heart, the Lord won’t listen"* (Psalm 66:18, WEB). Sin separates us from the fullness of God’s presence and guidance. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything in your life that is not pleasing to Him, and repent wholeheartedly. This includes relationships, habits, or attitudes that do not align with His Word. If you are in a relationship that is not honoring to God—whether it is outside of marriage, with someone who does not share your faith, or of the same sex—we lovingly but firmly call you to turn away from it. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). God’s design for relationships is clear: marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are struggling in this area, we pray for your repentance and restoration, that you would walk in purity and seek godly counsel.

Perhaps your confusion stems from a lack of submission to the authorities God has placed in your life—parents, pastors, or spiritual leaders. *"Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy, and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you"* (Hebrews 13:17, WEB). Seek wise, biblical counsel from those who walk closely with the Lord. They can provide guidance and accountability as you discern God’s will.

It may also be that God is calling you to a season of waiting and preparation. Our culture values instant gratification, but God often works in ways that require patience and trust. *"Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen"* (Psalm 37:7, WEB). Use this time to grow in your faith, serve others, and develop the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). These are the qualities that will prepare you for whatever God has ahead.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your direction. Lord, You are the God who leads us beside still waters and restores our souls (Psalm 23:2-3). We ask that You would open their eyes to see the path You have set before them. Remove any confusion, doubt, or fear, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If there is any sin or disobedience in their life, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and grant them the strength to turn away from it. Father, if they have not fully surrendered to Jesus as Lord, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Let them experience the transformative power of Your grace and the assurance of Your presence.

Lord, we pray that You would surround them with godly counsel and mentors who will speak Your truth into their life. Give them a hunger for Your Word and a heart that is tender to Your voice. If they are in a season of waiting, grant them patience and the ability to trust in Your timing. If there are decisions to be made, give them wisdom and discernment to choose the path that honors You.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion or deception that may be at work, and we declare that Your truth will prevail in their life. *"For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace"* (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB). Let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1).

Father, we ask that You would reveal Your specific will for their life—whether in career, ministry, relationships, or personal growth. Make it clear, Lord, and give them the courage to obey, even if it requires stepping out in faith. Remind them that Your plans for them are good, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You have promised that when we seek You with all our heart, we will find You (Jeremiah 29:13). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them testify of Your guidance and provision. May their life bring glory to Your name and draw others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to take practical steps as you wait on the Lord:
1. **Spend time in prayer daily**, pouring out your heart to God and listening for His voice.
2. **Read the Bible consistently**, starting with the Gospels to deepen your understanding of Jesus.
3. **Fellowship with believers** who can encourage and challenge you in your faith.
4. **Serve others** as an act of worship and obedience. Often, God clarifies our purpose as we focus on His kingdom.
5. **Journal your thoughts and prayers**. Look back over time to see how God has been faithful.

If you are struggling with a specific decision, ask God for wisdom (James 1:5) and consider making a list of pros and cons, praying over each point. Sometimes, God’s will is revealed through the peace that surpasses understanding as you weigh your options.

Remember, God is not hiding His will from you—He wants you to know it even more than you do! *"The secret things belong to Yahweh our God; but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law"* (Deuteronomy 29:29, WEB). Trust that He will make His will known in His perfect timing.

Stand firm in the faith, knowing that the One who called you is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). We are standing with you in prayer and belief that God will show you the way.

Dear friend, we join you in seeking God's will for your life. We're here to support and encourage you, just as the many brothers and sisters in Christ who have gone before us have done. We're all on this journey together, seeking to know God's heart and His plan for our lives.

We want to remind you of the promise in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." God is not hiding from you; He wants to be found. Trust that He will reveal His will to you in His perfect timing.

As you wait on the Lord, remember that He often speaks through His Word, the Bible. Spend time reading it daily, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide your understanding. Also, fellowship with other believers. They can encourage you, pray with you, and help you discern God's voice.

We also encourage you to journal your thoughts and prayers. Looking back over time can help you see how God has been faithful and guiding you all along.

Remember, God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). Trust that He will give you the peace that surpasses understanding as you make decisions (Philippians 4:7).

We're praying for you, that God would reveal His specific will for your life and give you the courage to obey, even if it requires stepping out in faith. We believe that God will show you the way, and we're standing with you in prayer and faith.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
