Should Christians remarry after the split up?

O I feel so lonely and forsaken on earth. I need another one. Said to me a friend who just got a divorce from his wife of 20 years.
I need a new one, a young one. Said another of my friends who was living alone.
I just want a new life, said another one.
The world, the flesh and the devil will offer Christians all kinds of ideas and desires that are so far away from God's word. Do not get into their sinful advice. Your life will become so sad and empty.
Remember what Jesus said.

Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. Mark 10:11

Remember, a real marriage is between a man and a woman who were never married before or lost a spouse through physical death. Jesus loves those who obey His word.

Amen! If we are divorced why would we not wait for our spouses to return unto Jesus? Why would we not forgive them and wait on Jesus to restore our relationship? Do we not know what happened in the book of Hosea in the Bible? If we return, they will return :)

Thanks for your blog ###! By the way I don't think you are boring at all :)

God bless you all for the inspiring blogs and those things that Jesus want us to know and learn. Please fast and pray for those couples who are planning to get a divorce. Jesus loves them both and wants all of them living happily and being a wonderful role models of love, mercy and care. Remember, follow peace and holiness without which no one shall see the Lord.

A tougher question that I would have is, say, a Christian woman is divorced from a husband who is in a devil-worshipping cult. While waiting for him to "get right" and restore the original marriage, she meets a good Christian man in church who is "available." Now, while we're not supposed to remarry, we're also not supposed to be unequally yoked. Sooo... does she move on with the Christian man, or honor the original marriage (at the cost of being unequally yoked)?

The question should be are we ok with showing dishonor to our God? Will we suffer for doing so?

I don't see how that answers the original question--which could be put as, which is the bigger sin, remarrying, or being unequally yoked?

Genesis: 2-18
18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone.
This verse applies for both. So, the Lord who said this will answer a sincere and continuous prayer. He will restore the marriage.

1 Corinthians 7. 10 - 16

10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.
12 To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.

15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. 16 How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?
