We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical distress, lifting up your need for healing and restoration. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we know that God cares deeply about every part of our being—spirit, soul, and body. The Scripture reminds us in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand in faith with you, believing that the Lord hears your cry and is able to bring complete healing.
Yet, we also recognize that sometimes physical struggles are used by God to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, or to remind us of our dependence on Him. In **2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB)**, the Lord told Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Even in this moment, we pray that you would sense His presence, His peace that surpasses understanding, and His strength sustaining you.
We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, for God often uses the hands of doctors and the wisdom of medicine as instruments of His healing. But ultimately, our trust is in Him alone.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is experiencing shortness of breath. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every breath in their lungs and knows the number of their days. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing power, removing any obstruction, inflammation, or disease that is causing this distress. Restore their breathing to fullness and ease, and let every cell in their body align with Your perfect design.
If there is any underlying spiritual or emotional weight contributing to this physical struggle, we ask that You would reveal it and bring freedom. Fill them with Your peace, which guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen their faith to trust You, even in this moment of vulnerability.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be attempting to take hold, and we declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear. Let them feel Your comforting presence, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.
Father, we thank You in advance for the healing You are bringing. May this situation bring glory to Your name, whether through miraculous restoration or through the testimony of Your sustaining grace. We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your complete restoration. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. If this struggle persists, we encourage you to seek prayer from your local church body, as there is power in the agreement of believers. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you with healing and peace.
