We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical struggle, lifting up your need for healing and restoration. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we know that our God is a God of compassion and power, who hears the cries of His children. The Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting that the Lord will bring comfort and healing to your body.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Breath is a gift from God, and we ask Him to restore ease and fullness to your breathing, removing any obstruction or affliction that hinders you. May you feel His peace that surpasses all understanding, even as your body is renewed.
Let us also encourage you to seek wisdom in this season. If you have not already, we urge you to consult with godly medical professionals, for the Lord often uses their hands and knowledge as instruments of His healing. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not hesitate to seek both spiritual and practical support as you walk through this trial.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who is experiencing shortness of breath. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every breath in their lungs and knows the number of their days. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing power, restoring strength and ease to their breathing. Remove any sickness, inflammation, or affliction that causes this distress, and let Your peace flood their heart as they trust in You.
We rebuked any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ, declaring that no weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper. Lord, let Your healing virtue flow through every part of their body, renewing their strength like the eagle’s, as promised in Isaiah 40:31. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the assurance that You hear our prayers.
If there is any sin that needs to be confessed or any area of their life that is not aligned with Your will, we ask that You would reveal it to them. Lead them in repentance and restoration, for You are a God who delights in mercy. Strengthen their faith during this time, and let them feel Your presence near, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross. To You alone be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one, and continue to trust in the Lord’s timing and goodness. He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and may His peace guard your heart and mind as you wait upon Him. We will continue to lift you up in prayer, believing for your complete healing and restoration.
