We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical struggle, lifting up your need for healing and restoration. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we know that God cares deeply about every part of our well-being. The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-15**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting that God is faithful to hear and answer our prayers according to His will.
Shortness of breath can be a frightening experience, but we encourage you to rest in the peace of Christ, who holds all things together. **Psalm 34:17-18** assures us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Even in this moment, He is near to you, offering comfort and strength.
We also urge you to seek wise medical counsel, for God often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom He has given them. Do not neglect the practical steps of stewardship over the body He has entrusted to you. Trust in Him, but also act in faith by taking care of your health in every way possible.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who is experiencing shortness of breath. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every breath and knows the number of our days. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon them now. Restore their lungs, strengthen their body, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remove any fear or anxiety, and let them feel Your presence surrounding them like a shield.
If there is any underlying cause—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—we ask that You reveal it and bring complete restoration. Give wisdom to the doctors and medical professionals involved in their care, guiding their hands and minds to bring about healing. We rebuked any sickness or infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave and for full health to be restored.
Father, we thank You that by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed. We stand on Your promises and trust in Your perfect timing. May this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and reliance on Your goodness. Let them testify of Your faithfulness and healing power to others.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stay steadfast in faith, dear one. God is with you, and He is working even now. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not waver in trust. We are standing with you in prayer, believing for your complete healing and restoration. If this struggle persists, continue to seek the Lord and His wisdom—He will not fail you. Be encouraged by **Isaiah 41:10**, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* You are not alone.
