Mostly the POWER to live a Holy Life overflowing with LOVE for God and others, singing and making melody from "singing seminaries" and "the walking practice of evangelism" is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm (I refer to it as 8.0 based upon the 7 covenants God revealed in Redemptive History (whether they all dealt with us individually or not is irrelevant, they are still part of the history of redemption when humans had workings and dealings with God expressing His thoughts toward humans, the New Covenant -- "the already "is the 7th, where we are redeemed, have peace with God, are indwelt with the Holy Spirit, are part of "New Creation" though only a "foretaste of the good things to come." The change our bodies will incur and all creation eagerly awaits is our hope in Romans 8 and latter Revelation and is the 8th I'm calling 8.0 where ALL of these things will be realized in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom will have full expression once it's fully come on earth as it is heaven again -- the "not yet," -- "May Your Kingdom Come and Your Will be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven," Matt 6:10.

May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- Keeping in mind the Kingdom Coming, as described above, in differing degrees, the already and the not yet, we ask here in the already that we may know, submit to and do Your will for our lives individually and collectively as the church, as Jesus did during His time on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28, and arrive in fulness at the Return of Christ.

Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our spiritual, emotional, social, physical and financial needs mightily, Phil 4:19, so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, Mk 12:31, even the lost, Matt 9:36, and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves -- and see others as Christ, who looked beyond his own interests, to the interests of others, considering others as more important than we, Phil 2:1-5.

Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You, Rom 3:23, 1 Jn 1:8, 1 Jn 1:10 (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness, Lk 1:77, & pray FOR those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, Job 42:7-16, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9, 1 Pet 4:19.

Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation and evil, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:16, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the profound wisdom and structure of the Lord’s Prayer as taught by our Savior, Jesus Christ. This prayer is not merely words to be recited but a divine pattern for aligning our hearts with the will of God. We rejoice in the truth that we can approach the Father through the shed blood of Jesus, who has made us heirs and children of God by faith in His name. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If anyone reading this has not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your forgiveness, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). The Father longs to adopt you into His family, and today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Father in Heaven, we hallow Your name above all names. May Your gracious and compassionate nature be magnified in our lives, that our thoughts, words, and deeds would reflect Your holiness. We honor You as Elohim, the Creator of all; as Adonai, our Lord and Master; as El Shaddai, our Almighty Provider; and as Yahweh, the Great I AM. Let Your name never be used in vain but revered in all the earth, so that the nations may see Your glory and turn to You.

Your Kingdom come! We long for the day when Your righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit will reign fully in our hearts and across the earth. Until then, may the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, overflow from our lives. We ask for the gifts of the Spirit to equip Your church for the work of ministry, that we may grow into the full stature of Christ. Drive out every work of darkness, for the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power (1 Corinthians 4:20). Come, Lord Jesus, and establish Your Kingdom in its fullness (Revelation 22:20).

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Father, we surrender our plans, desires, and ambitions to You. Teach us to abide in Christ, that we may bear much fruit and prove ourselves to be His disciples (John 15:8). May we make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). Let Your will be done in our families, churches, and nations, and may we rejoice even in trials, knowing that Your purposes are perfect.

Give us this day our daily bread. We trust You to meet all our needs, spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial, according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). May we love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31). Help us to see others as You see them, even our enemies, and to serve them with the love of Christ.

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. We confess our sins before You, our pride, selfishness, idolatry, and every transgression. Cleanse us by the blood of Jesus and create in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10). We also release forgiveness to those who have wronged us, praying for their repentance and salvation. May we entrust their souls to You, the righteous Judge (1 Peter 4:19).

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Protect us from the schemes of the devil, the allure of sin, and the deception of false teachers. Surround us with Your angels, that no harm may befall us (Psalm 91:10-11). Strengthen us to resist temptation, knowing that You provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We declare that all authority belongs to You, and we submit to Your sovereign rule. May Your name be exalted in all the earth, and may we live to bring You glory in every area of our lives.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for in Him all Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" (2 Corinthians 1:20). Amen.

The prayer you have set before us, tracing our Lord’s own pattern, is a blessed exercise when the heart is truly in it. You have rightly begun where all true prayer must begin, with the Father, His honor, His Kingdom, His will. To seek these first is the very essence of faith, for it dethrones self and makes God all in all. The two tablets of the prayer are perfectly joined: first God’s glory, then our need. Never separate what Christ has joined. To hallow His name, to long for His Kingdom, to bend the neck to His will, this is the soul’s true health. And from that health flows the liberty to ask for daily bread, forgiveness, and deliverance.

On the matter of forgiveness, let the music of this one truth sound through every chamber of your heart: “There is forgiveness.” Not a maybe, not a perhaps, not a bare hope that trembles like a candle in the wind, but a full, emphatic, unquestionable assurance. The Hebrew of the Psalm bears no verb, it stands as a solid fact, towering like a rock: “Forgiveness with Thee.” It was there before you drew breath; it is there now; it will be there when your last hour strikes. And it is forgiveness of a divine sort. When God absolves, the debt is not paid twice. He will not remember your sins, not in accusation, not in punishment, not in the distribution of reward. He casts them behind His back, and where God has thrown them, no devil in hell can fetch them back.

But here is the knot that many a professor fails to untie: this forgiveness is always bound to the cross. The ransom is found. The price is paid. Deliver him from going down to the pit, why? “I have found a ransom.” Christ Jesus has stood in the sinner’s stead. For His sake, God will do anything for you. Cling to that. It is no straw; it is a life-buoy that has held ten thousand sinking souls. If you confess your sins, naming them like the filth they are, He will give a clean absolution. And this forgiveness, once given, is eternal. He will never rake up old offences. He will not say on a dark day, “Now I will deal with you after your sins.” No; for Jesus’ sake, the discharge is full and final, pleaded in the High Court of Heaven.

Now, mark the necessary fruit of forgiven people: we forgive our debtors. This is not the root of our pardon, but it is the evidence of it. The world’s maxim is, “I will have the law of you,” but the Christian’s rule is, “I will bear and forbear.” You have been forgiven a thousand talents; can you seize your brother by the throat for a hundred pence? Rise to your true dignity! Princes of the blood royal, redeemed with incorruptible blood, ought not to act like paupers clawing at pennies. Let the ingratitude of men be met by the kindness that hopes for nothing again, knowing that Christ will acknowledge it as done unto Himself on that day.

As for the plea, “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,” you have well understood that we wrestle not only with flesh and blood but with the archers who shoot in the twilight. The evil one, the evil of sin, the evil of fear, these are real enemies. But remember Job’s case: even when an arrow of conviction burns in your veins and the tempter whispers that God’s ear is shut, that whisper is a lie from the pit. The God who helped Moses will help you. The God who delivered David from the slander of his foes will deliver you. The higher the tower, the longer the shadow; and the more your character reflects Christ, the fouler the slander may be. Yet none of it can touch the soul that hides in the cleft of the rock. When you cannot see His hand, trust His heart. He will give His angels charge over you. He will keep you from falling into the snare, or He will make a way of escape.

And what of those daily needs? The bread for the body, the bread of the Word for the soul, ask for both with holy boldness. Many a child of God lives like a pauper when he ought to live like an heir. The cattle on a thousand hills are your Father’s. The unsearchable riches of Christ are your portion. Do not stoop to pick up the world’s toys when the gold of Ophir lies open before you. Live in the light of the last hour. Will you then regret that you spent your strength on trifles, or that you poured out your life like water that souls might be saved? Nothing will seem worth having then but what was done for Christ and for immortal souls.

Finally, let your prayer always swing back to its first note: “Thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory.” All power in heaven and earth is in the pierced hand that holds you. The Kingdom cannot be destroyed, though nations rage. And the end of all things, your deliverance, your provision, your sanctification, will redound not to your credit, but to His glory. Go now, and test this forgiveness. Plead the ransom. Count on the Father’s care. And let your life be one long song of deliverance, sung in the places where once you drew water under the arrows of the foe.

You have set the petitions of the Lord's Prayer in their right order, and the church can pray them with you. But the Lord gave this prayer to shape the heart, not to give us a long display of words. When you ask first for the Father's name to be hallowed, His kingdom to come, and His will to be done, you are asking that your own life become a place on earth where His will is done as it is in heaven. That means prompt obedience, not bargaining.

Notice how the Lord condescends to our flesh. He commands great perfection, but He does not command us to be without bodily needs. Nature requires food. Therefore He tells us to ask for bread only, and for daily bread, so that we do not take thought for the morrow. This is a boundary for your request. If the prayer for provision becomes a prayer for riches, delicate living, costly raiment, or a full storehouse for years, it has left the pattern. Ask for bread for one day. If He gives more, it is not only for your table but for sowing, so that you may abound to every good work.

On forgiveness your words are good, but watch the heart. The tongue that will touch the Lord's Body must be kept pure. You cannot ask God to forgive your debts while you harbor curses against your debtor. To pray for enemies is blessed, but cursing and praying are far apart. If you bring a person before God, do it as blessing, not as hidden revenge. Entreat Him to save them, and entrust judgment to Him alone. The unforgiving will not be forgiven.

When you pray, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, remember that God is faithful. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man, and He will not let you be tried beyond what you can bear. He makes the way of escape. But do not use that promise as a pillow for carelessness. Prayer is a strong weapon in temptations, but it profits the one who watches. Ask for the prayers of the saints, but do not say you have no need of them. Even Peter had the church praying earnestly for him.

The daily bread you request also binds you to your neighbor. We who are many are one bread, one body. If we all partake of the one bread, why do we not show the same love? The poor man begging for bread is not shameless. Shameless is the one who has plenty and plunders or hoards while his brother hungers. Let the one who prays for bread become bread for the hungry.

Your prayer begins with thanksgiving, and every prayer of ours should be accompanied with thanksgiving. That is good. But do not let the length of the words replace the understanding of them. Pray them ardently, with the knees of the heart. We will join you in these petitions, and we will pray for you, that what you have written would become in you not only words but a life.
