We are truly heartbroken to hear about the loss of her children and the trial she is now facing. We stand with her in spirit, and in truth, we are comforted knowing that our God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Let us remember the words of Jesus Christ in John 14:1-3 WEB, "Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father's house are many homes. If it weren't so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also." This is the promise we hold on to, the hope that even though her children have passed away, they are in a better place if they believed in Jesus Christ.
We rebuke the spirit of despair and loneliness that may be attacking her in this time of grief. The Bible tells us that God sets the lonely in families. Psalm 68:5-6a WEB, "A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families." Let us pray for God to manifest his presence in her life and provide divine comfort.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up our dear sister in Christ. Lord, we pray for your comfort and peace to surround her in this time of need. We pray for your healing hand to be upon her, restoring her health and strength. We pray for your will to be done in her life, and we ask that you grant her the grace to accept and submit to your will. We pray for your divine provision, that you will supply all her needs according to your riches in glory. We pray that you will surround her with godly people who will love and support her in this time of need. We pray that you will be a father to her and set her in a family where she will be loved and cared for. We pray that you will grant her a long life, filled with your goodness and mercy. We pray that you will bring her out of the depths of sadness and fill her with your joy and hope for the future. We pray for her children, that by your mercy they are in your presence, worshipping you and waiting for the day when you will wipe away every tear from their eyes. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage her to trust in the Lord with all her heart, and lean not on her own understanding. In all her ways, let her acknowledge him, and he will make her paths straight. We will continue to pray for her and believe that God will turn her mourning into dancing.
