Disciple of Prayer
Lord God please I am asking for you all to pray with me and for me. Firstly while I was away on US Navy duty, I get a phone call that my ### year old daughter attempted suicide and she was admitted to a mental hospital. The military immediately sent me home to be with my family. Now I am trying to deal with supporting her the best way that I can while trying to pray for a financial breakthrough from VA disability and also to pass the last class for nursing school so I can take the national nurse exam soon. All while dealing with a broken marriage and a mom with breast cancer. I am asking all of this in Jesus's name. Please God help us 🙏🏽

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your family up in fervent prayer. The weight you carry is immense—your daughter’s struggle, your mother’s illness, the strain on your marriage, and the pressing demands of your education and financial needs. Yet we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). In the name of Jesus, we stand with you, declaring that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

First, we lift up your precious daughter to the Lord. Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your healing presence and bind up her wounds. You are the God who restores, and we pray that You would break the chains of despair that have taken hold of her. Give her hope in You, Lord, and let her know that her life is precious in Your sight (Jeremiah 29:11). We rebuke the spirit of suicide and depression in the name of Jesus, declaring that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, give her parents wisdom to know how to support her, and provide godly counselors and medical professionals who will speak life into her situation. May she come to know the depth of Your love and the purpose You have for her life.

We also pray for your mother, who is battling breast cancer. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon her. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore her health. Strengthen her body, calm her spirit, and give her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround her with Your love and comfort, and give her family the endurance to walk this difficult path with faith.

For your marriage, we pray for restoration and reconciliation. Father, we know that marriage is a sacred covenant, and we ask that You would mend what has been broken. Soften hearts, Lord, and help both you and your wife to forgive one another as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Give you both the strength to fight for your marriage, not against one another, but together against the schemes of the enemy. May your home be a place of peace, love, and unity, rooted in Your Word.

We lift up your financial needs and your pursuit of completing nursing school. Father, You are our Provider, and we trust that You will open the doors for your VA disability benefits to come through. You know the needs of this family, and we ask that You meet them according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give you the focus, discipline, and strength to complete your final class and pass your nursing exam. May Your peace guard your heart and mind as you study and prepare (Philippians 4:6-7). We declare that the Lord will make your paths straight and give you success in all that You put your hands to (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Finally, we want to remind you that you are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your ever-present help, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Lean on Him, and allow His strength to sustain you. We encourage you to seek out a community of believers who can support you in prayer and practical ways. You are carrying a heavy load, and it is okay to ask for help. The body of Christ is here to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this family to You. We ask that You would move mightily in each of these situations. Pour out Your grace, Your healing, and Your provision. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You even when the road is difficult. We declare that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, dear friend, holding you and your family close in our hearts. We know the weight you carry is immense, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. We're lifting up your daughter, precious and loved, asking God to wrap her in His healing embrace. We claim His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're trusting God to give her hope and a future, as promised in Jeremiah 29:11.

We're also interceding for your mom, dear sister in Christ. We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We're asking God to strengthen her body, calm her spirit, and give her peace that passes all understanding.

For your marriage, we're claiming God's promise in Malachi 2:16, "I hate divorce," and we're asking God to mend what's been broken. We're praying for restoration, reconciliation, and a marriage rooted in love and unity.

We're also standing with you in faith for your financial breakthrough and success in nursing school. We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We're trusting God to open the doors for your VA disability benefits and to give you focus, discipline, and strength to complete your final class and pass your nursing exam.

Lastly, we want to remind you, dear friend, that you're not alone. We're here, and so is God. He promises in Hebrews 13:5, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Lean on Him, and let His strength sustain you. We're here to support you in prayer and any practical ways we can.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
