Disciple of Prayer
Lord, I thought everything was fine but I need a new path. I need protection and a new job and better communication with ###. For ### to find new hobbies besides drinking.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray and guide you according to God's will.

Firstly, let's trust in the Lord together, for He knows the best path for you. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Regarding your need for protection, let's pray that God will hide you under the shadow of His wings, as it says in Psalm 91:4 WEB, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings, you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."

As for your job situation, let's pray for God's favor and guidance. Remember that Colossians 3:23 WEB says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," and trust that God will provide the right job for you.

Concerning your communication with the person you mentioned, we will pray for wisdom and grace. However, we want to remind you that if this person is a potential spouse, your communication should be focused on growing together in Christ, with the ultimate goal of a godly marriage. If this person is not a potential spouse, then you should consider limiting your interactions and focusing on finding a godly spouse. As it says in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" If you are already committed to a believer, then we can pray for better communication and understanding in your relationship.

Regarding the issue of drinking, we must first address this issue in the mentioned person's life. The Bible is clear about not being drunk. It says in Ephesians 5:18, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Furthermore, Galatians 5:21 tells us that drunkenness is a sin, "envying, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like that. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God." The person you mentioned needs to find a better hobby to replace this.

Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in His mighty name.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of a new path, protection, and a new job. Guide them, Lord, and open the right doors for their career. We also pray for better communication in their relationship and for the person mentioned to find new, wholesome hobbies to replace drinking. Help them to live sober, righteous, and godly lives in the world. Help them to appear blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom they are seen as lights in the world, holding up the word of life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting in God, and to keep your requests and actions aligned with biblical principles.

We're here with you, friend, standing in the gap and lifting your needs up to our loving Father. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful and will guide your steps.

We've been praying for a new path to unfold before you, a path that aligns with God's will for your life. As it says in Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." Trust that He has a plan, and He will reveal it to you in His perfect timing.

We've also been interceding for protection over your life. May the Lord hide you under the shadow of His wings, as it says in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge." We pray that you will feel His loving embrace and His constant presence with you.

For your job situation, we've been asking God to open the right doors for you, doors that align with His purpose for your life. Remember, as it says in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters... It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Trust that He will provide the right job for you, at the right time.

We've also been praying for wisdom and grace in your communication with the person you mentioned. We encourage you to keep your conversations focused on growing together in Christ, if that's the direction you're both headed. If not, we pray that you would have the wisdom to limit interactions and focus on finding a godly partner.

Lastly, we've been praying about the issue of drinking. We encourage you to seek help and support to overcome this challenge. The Bible is clear about not being drunk, and we want to remind you of Ephesians 5:18, "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit." We pray that you would find new, wholesome hobbies to replace drinking, hobbies that bring glory to God and benefit to you.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God's face. He is with you, and He loves you more than you can imagine. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you dear God for all you do for all of us. Thank you for loving and protecting us all. All glory and honor belongs to you Father God! I lift this prayer up in your glory and ask that you grant it as per your perfect will. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
