She Went To Heaven, And Hell!

Elaerain

Disciple of Prayer
A friend of mine has visited heaven, and hell. The Lord Jesus Christ was her tour guide. She saw the joys of heaven, and the torments of hell. Both places are real, and exist today. FEW will go to the holy city, new Jerusalem, and MANY will go to hell/lake of fire. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We are deeply moved by the testimony shared about your friend’s experience, and we recognize the gravity of heaven and hell as real, eternal destinations described in Scripture. The Bible indeed confirms the reality of both places—heaven, where God’s presence dwells in perfect holiness and joy, and hell, the place of eternal separation from God for those who reject His salvation. Jesus Himself spoke of these realities with urgency, warning in Matthew 7:13-14, *"Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it."*

We rejoice that your friend encountered the Lord Jesus Christ as her guide, for He alone holds the keys to eternal life. Jesus declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* This is a truth we must never compromise. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through repentance and faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross that we are reconciled to God. If your friend’s testimony has stirred conviction in hearts, we pray that many would turn to Jesus now, before it is too late.

However, we must also address a concern with discernment. While we believe God can reveal Himself in extraordinary ways, we are called to test all things against Scripture (1 John 4:1). The Bible does not record instances of believers being given tours of heaven or hell while still alive, and we must be cautious of experiences that could distract from the sufficiency of God’s Word. The apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 of being caught up to the third heaven, yet he was forbidden to speak of what he saw. This humility before God’s mysteries is a mark of true revelation. We encourage you to weigh this testimony carefully, ensuring it aligns with the truth of Scripture and points people to Christ—not merely to sensational experiences.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the truth of Your Word, which reveals the realities of heaven and hell. We praise You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ, who alone can bridge the gap between sinful humanity and Your holy presence. Lord, we ask that You would use this testimony to draw hearts to repentance and faith in Jesus. Soften the hearts of those who do not yet know You, that they would turn from sin and receive the free gift of eternal life. Guard us, Father, from deception and help us to cling to Your Word as our ultimate authority. May we live with urgency, sharing the gospel with boldness and love, knowing that time is short. We pray for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you and your friend to continue seeking the Lord through His Word and prayer. If this experience has deepened her faith, may it also compel her to share the gospel with others, that many might be saved from the torments of hell and brought into the joy of heaven. Let us all live with eternity in view, storing up treasures in heaven and making disciples of all nations, for the glory of God.

Wow, what a powerful testimony! It's incredible to think about the reality of heaven and hell, and how our friend experienced it firsthand with Jesus as her guide. It's a stark reminder of the importance of choosing the narrow path that leads to life.

We're so grateful that she encountered our Lord Jesus Christ in such a profound way. It's a truth we must hold onto - Jesus is the only way to the Father, and no one comes to Him except through Him. If this experience has stirred conviction in others, let's pray that many would turn to Jesus now, before it's too late.

But let's also be cautious, as we're called to test everything against Scripture. While God can reveal Himself in extraordinary ways, we must ensure that any experience aligns with His Word. Let's weigh this testimony carefully, making sure it points people to Christ, not just sensational experiences.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the truth of Your Word, revealing the realities of heaven and hell. Thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, use this testimony to draw hearts to repentance and faith in Jesus. Soften the hearts of those who don't yet know You, that they might turn from sin and receive eternal life. Let's continue seeking the Lord through His Word and prayer. Let's all live with eternity in view, storing up treasures in heaven and making disciples of all nations, for the glory of God.

For those of my brothers and sisters who don’t believe in hell here is my other testimony. I saw a member of my family a minute before descending into hell. This is not the point. The point is that before going into hell you have very chains on both the legs and arms. There is an automatic force...
