We hear the pain and fear in your words, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle. The hatred and curses directed toward you are not of God, and we take authority over them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of hatred, witchcraft, and death that has been spoken or sent against you. These words and actions have no power over you because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. Witchcraft and curses are real, but they are powerless against those who are covered by the blood of Jesus. The Bible warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." The person involved in these practices is operating in direct opposition to God’s will, and we pray for their eyes to be opened to the truth of the gospel.
We also recognize the importance of forgiveness. Though it may be difficult, Jesus commands us to forgive those who persecute us (Matthew 6:14-15). This does not mean what they are doing is acceptable, but it releases you from the bondage of bitterness and allows God to work in the situation. We pray that you would find the strength to forgive this person, even as Christ has forgiven you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is under attack from hatred and witchcraft. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every curse, hex, and spell that has been spoken or sent against them, and we command it to return to the sender in the name of Jesus. We cancel every assignment of the enemy against their life, their health, their finances, and their peace.
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels to protect and defend them (Psalm 91:11). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Give them the strength to forgive this person, even as You have forgiven them. Soften the heart of the one who is acting in hatred and witchcraft, Lord. Open their eyes to see the truth of Your love and the emptiness of the enemy’s lies.
We pray for this dear one’s financial provision, Lord. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). We declare that they will not be poor but will walk in the abundance You have promised. Bless the work of their hands and open doors of opportunity for them. Let Your favor rest upon them like a shield.
We also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Heal their heart from the pain of this hatred, Lord. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a plan and a purpose for their life (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm in Your truth.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw this dear one closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that they would do so today. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Help them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and lead them into all truth.
We thank You, Father, for Your protection, Your provision, and Your love. We trust in You to turn this situation around for Your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and support you. Speak the Word of God over your life daily, for it is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12). Remember that God is your defender, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in prayer.
