Dear Lord,
We ask You to help us value honesty in our relationship. Help us to reveal our hopes and dreams as well as our disappointments and hurts. If we ever feel like hiding our hearts from each other or coping with our feelings in unhealthy ways, will You please convict us and pull us close together? Urge us to carve out time to talk. Lead us to dive deeper beyond surface-level topics. Holy Spirit, guide us to engage with grace and understanding. Make us good listeners, quick to tune in and slow to speak. May we create a safe place to discuss important matters with one another.
