We stand with you in righteous indignation before the throne of God, for this situation is a grievous violation of justice, mercy, and the sanctity of life. The Word of God declares, *"Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy"* (Proverbs 31:8-9 WEB). What you have endured is not merely negligence—it is a willful disregard for human life, a hardening of hearts that has led to deception, cruelty, and oppression.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge, the One who sees all and will not be mocked. We lift up this situation to You, for You are a God of justice and truth. You have said, *"Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppressive decrees; to deprive the needy of justice, and to rob the poor among my people of their rights"* (Isaiah 10:1-2 WEB). Lord, we ask that You expose every lie, every act of fraud, and every attempt to cover up the truth. Let Your light shine into the darkness of this corruption, and let those who have acted with such callousness be brought to account.
We rebuke the spirit of greed, deception, and hardness of heart that has taken hold of these individuals. The Bible warns, *"The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows"* (1 Timothy 6:10 WEB). We pray that You break the power of greed over their lives and soften their hearts to repentance. May they be convicted by the Holy Spirit to acknowledge their wrongdoing, apologize sincerely, and make restitution for the harm they have caused.
Lord, we also pray for Your protection and provision over this dear one who has suffered. You are the God who sees the affliction of Your people and hears their cries (Exodus 3:7). We ask that You heal their physical wounds, both seen and unseen, and restore their peace and security. Provide them with a safe place to live, free from danger and oppression. Open doors of opportunity for them, and let Your favor go before them in every area of their life.
We declare that this situation *will* be turned around, for You are the God who *"executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry"* (Psalm 146:7 WEB). We speak truth to the lies that have been spoken over this circumstance. We declare that those who have acted unjustly will not prosper in their wickedness. Instead, they will face the consequences of their actions, either through repentance or through the righteous judgment of God. We pray that they would choose repentance, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).
We also lift up the electricians who were asked to falsify reports. Father, we pray that You would convict them of the wrongdoing they were pressured to commit. Give them the courage to stand for truth and integrity, even in the face of intimidation. Let them refuse to be complicit in this deception, and may they be instruments of Your justice in this situation.
Lord, we ask that You raise up advocates for this individual—people of integrity, wisdom, and courage who will stand with them and help them navigate this injustice. Surround them with godly counsel, legal support, and practical assistance. Let Your church arise and be a voice for the voiceless, a refuge for the oppressed, and a beacon of Your love and justice in this broken world.
Finally, we pray that this trial would draw this dear one closer to You. May they experience Your presence as their Comforter, their Defender, and their Provider. Let them know that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
In the name of Jesus Christ, the Author of justice and the Prince of Peace, we pray. Amen.
