shame and guilt from being raped

i am a 17 year old girl and was raped in November by a close friend who is not my boyfriend. he has a sexual addiction and the sexual harassment still continues. I feel guilt and shame and my heart is filled with disgust in myself. I need God to help me. I need to know that He has forgiven me. and my friend.

I am sorry for the pain that you have endured recently my sister. I can not imagine what you are going through, but I do know the feeling of pain and disappointment we humans can feel about ourselves. The person who raped you made you feel ugly, but remember Psalm 139:14: "I made you fearfully and wonderfully made." In other words, God thinks you are beautiful and a treasure to him. Unless you are allowing yourself to be sexually harassed by this man by not seeking help from other or by calling the police, there is no need for you to feel guilty about the evil done to you, that is a lie from the enemy who is trying to take advantage of your pain. Be strong my sister, and may God bless you and get you out of this trial triumphantly.
