Shame and disgrace

Beloved of All
My own praying on my downfall. Being treated unfairly and I’m in pain I can’t eat gaslighting my persecution will lead to ### suicide I need treatment but I can’t get help

We hear the depth of your anguish, and our hearts break with yours. The weight of shame, disgrace, and persecution is crushing, and we understand how isolation and gaslighting can make you feel as though there is no way out. But we want you to know—you are not alone, and your life is precious in the eyes of God. The enemy would love nothing more than to steal your hope, your joy, and even your life, but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every lie, every spirit of despair, and every scheme of the devil aimed at your destruction.

First, we must address the mention of suicide with the urgency and love of Christ. Suicide is not the answer—it is a permanent solution to a temporary, though excruciating, pain. The Bible tells us in John 10:10 that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. Your life has purpose, even if you cannot see it right now. We plead with you to cling to the truth that God sees your pain, He hears your cries, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). If you are feeling this desperate, please reach out to someone—a pastor, a trusted friend, or even a crisis hotline—so you do not have to carry this alone. Your life matters more than you know.

The pain of being treated unfairly is something Jesus Himself endured. Isaiah 53:3 describes Him as "a man of suffering, and familiar with pain... despised and rejected by mankind." You are not alone in this. But we must also examine the source of your shame and disgrace. Are these feelings rooted in sin you have committed, or are they being imposed on you unjustly? If you have sinned, know that there is forgiveness and redemption in Christ. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." If the shame is being unjustly placed upon you, we rebuke the spirit of condemnation in Jesus' name. Romans 8:1 declares, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."

The gaslighting you are experiencing is a tactic of the enemy to make you doubt your own reality and worth. We speak truth over you: You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). You are a child of God, created for a purpose (Jeremiah 29:11). You are not crazy, you are not worthless, and you are not beyond help. We pray that God would open your eyes to the truth and give you the strength to stand firm in it. Surround yourself with people who will speak life into you, not those who seek to tear you down.

We also want to gently address the mention of "your own praying on your downfall." This is a dangerous and ungodly mindset. Prayer should always align with God's will, which is for your good, not your harm (Jeremiah 29:11). If you have been praying prayers that do not align with His Word, we encourage you to repent and ask God to renew your mind. Romans 12:2 says, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Prayers that align with God's heart will always bring life, not destruction.

You mentioned needing treatment but not being able to get help. We pray that God would open doors for you to receive the care you need—whether that is medical, emotional, or spiritual. Proverbs 16:9 says, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." Trust that God can guide you to the right resources. In the meantime, we encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Let God's Word be your comfort and guide.

We also want to address the fact that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. This is not a small detail—it is everything. There is no hope, no healing, and no salvation apart from Him. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). If you do not know Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step toward true healing and freedom.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is in deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of shame, disgrace, and despair that are weighing them down. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that tells them their life is not worth living. Jesus, You came to set the captives free, and we declare freedom over them right now. Let them know Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would heal their mind, body, and spirit. Restore their appetite, Lord, and give them the strength to eat and care for themselves. We pray against the spirit of gaslighting and persecution—let them see the truth clearly and stand firm in it. Surround them with godly people who will speak life and encouragement into their situation.

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in their life, reveal it to them and lead them to repentance. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and restore their joy. If the shame they feel is unjust, we ask that You remove it and replace it with Your love and acceptance.

We pray for open doors for treatment and help. Guide them to the right resources, whether medical, emotional, or spiritual. Provide for their needs and give them the courage to seek help. Father, we also pray for their salvation if they do not know You. Draw them to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Let them experience Your love in a tangible way.

We declare that this is not the end of their story. You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we trust You to bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a powerful way. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold onto hope. Psalm 30:5 says, "Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." This pain is not forever. God is working even when you cannot see it. Keep crying out to Him, and do not give up. You are loved, you are valued, and you are not alone.

We're here with you, friend. We've felt the weight of unfair treatment, the sting of shame, and the despair that can come from feeling trapped. But remember, even in the darkest night, the sun will rise again. Jesus is our light, and He promises never to leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We claim that promise over you today.

We want you to know that your life is precious to God. He sees your pain, He hears your cries, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this. We stand with you, and we're praying for you.

We understand the struggle with suicide. It's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Please, please reach out to someone - a pastor, a trusted friend, or even a crisis hotline. Your life matters more than you know. You are loved, and you are valued.

We also want to encourage you to trust God with your situation. He is working things out for your good, even when it doesn't feel like it (Romans 8:28). Keep crying out to Him, and don't give up. Rejoicing may stay for the night, but it comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

We're praying for you, that God would heal your mind, body, and spirit. We pray that He would break the chains of shame, disgrace, and despair, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that He would guide you to the right resources for help, and provide for your needs. Most importantly, we pray that you would come to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, if you haven't already.

Keep holding on, friend. You are not alone. We're in this with you.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart these past days. The weight of shame and disgrace you described—feeling as though your own prayers are working against you, enduring unfair treatment, and wrestling with pain that feels unbearable—has not gone unnoticed by us or by our Heavenly Father. We have lifted up your cry for justice, your longing for relief, and your desperate need for help when the world seems determined to gaslight and persecute you. Most of all, we have pleaded with God to surround you with His presence, to break the lies that seek to isolate you, and to intervene in ways only He can.

If in these days you have sensed even a glimmer of His peace, a moment of clarity, or a hand reaching out to steady you, we would be so encouraged to hear it. Your praise report could be a light to others walking through similar darkness. But if the burden still feels just as heavy, if the pain still feels just as sharp, or if the help you need still feels out of reach, we want you to know we are not stepping away. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God hears the cries of the broken and is already at work in ways we cannot yet see.

You are not forgotten. You are not alone. Let us keep pressing into His promises together, trusting that He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that He would open doors for the treatment and support you need, that He would silence the voices that seek to harm you, and that He would fill you with a hope that defies every lie. May His love be the anchor that holds you, His truth the voice that speaks louder than the accuser, and His grace the strength that carries you through.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
