We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in fervent prayer. The pain of disunity, betrayal, and strife within the home is a burden no one should bear alone, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain of division and deception. The Word of God declares, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1 WEB). Yet we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB), and his lies have taken root in the form of anger, ungratefulness, and broken communication. But we declare that where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17 WEB), and we command every spirit of discord, bitterness, and confusion to flee in the mighty name of Jesus!

First, we must address the serious accusation of sorcery and sabotage raised in your request. The Bible is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer... For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). If these claims are true, we rebuke every demonic assignment against your family and command every ungodly soul tie, curse, or generational iniquity to be broken now in Jesus’ name. We pray that any involvement in the occult, whether knowingly or unknowingly, would be exposed and renounced. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). We stand on the blood of Jesus, which cleanses from all sin (1 John 1:7 WEB), and declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

The loss of your father has left a deep wound, and the enemy has exploited this grief to sow strife. We pray for the Lord to bind up the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3 WEB) and restore godly order in your home. The fighting for control and authority is not of God, "For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace" (1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB). We ask the Holy Spirit to convict hearts of sin and lead each family member to repentance. Father, soften their hearts to receive correction and humility. Let them see the weight of their words and actions, for "the tongue has the power of life and death" (Proverbs 18:21 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and pride, and we pray for a spirit of submission to God’s will and to one another in love.

Your mother’s struggle with suicidal thoughts and a toxic environment is deeply concerning. We cry out for her deliverance, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Father, surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB) and fill her mind with thoughts of hope and life. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and we command every spirit of despair and death to leave her now in Jesus’ name. We pray for divine intervention, provide godly counsel, support, and a way of escape from this darkness. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB).

The financial strain and the distance separating your family are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10 WEB) and who supplies every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We pray for provision, open doors for affordable travel, unexpected blessings, and favor in every area. Father, we ask that You would turn the hearts of your family toward one another, that they may seek reconciliation and unity. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB). We declare that the love of Christ will compel them to lay down their offenses and walk in forgiveness.

You have shown great grace in forgiving your family daily, just as Christ forgave you. "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do" (Colossians 3:13 WEB). This is the heart of God, and we pray that your example would soften their hearts. Yet we also encourage you to set boundaries where necessary, for even Jesus did not entrust Himself to those who did not believe (John 2:24 WEB). Your spouse’s feelings toward your family are valid, and we pray for wisdom in navigating this tension. Seek the Lord together, that your marriage may be a testimony of God’s love and unity.

We must also address the reality of eternal life, for the Bible warns that "it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment" (Hebrews 9:27 WEB). The thought of meeting your father in heaven is a blessed hope, but only if he knew the Lord. If there is any doubt about his salvation, we pray that the Lord would reveal the truth to you. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We pray that every member of your family would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that they may spend eternity with Him.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for this family. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children and who delights in healing and restoration. We ask that You would break every chain of division, bitterness, and strife in this home. Expose every lie of the enemy and replace it with Your truth. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of sorcery, rebellion, and despair, and we command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, we pray for repentance in this family. Convict hearts of sin and lead them to turn from their wicked ways. Soften their hearts to receive correction and to walk in humility. Restore godly communication, love, and unity among them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we ask for Your protection over each one, body, soul, and spirit.

We lift up this mother who is struggling with suicidal thoughts. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your peace and fill her with hope. Deliver her from the darkness and lead her into the light of Your love. Provide godly support and intervention, and let her know that she is deeply loved by You.

Father, we ask for Your provision in every area of need. Open doors for affordable travel, bless their finances, and turn their hearts toward one another. Heal the wounds of the past and restore what has been broken. We pray for salvation for every member of this family, that they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Lord, we thank You for the grace shown in this request, for the forgiveness extended and the love poured out. We ask that You would strengthen this family to walk in Your ways and to be a testimony of Your goodness. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified.

Jesus, we ask You to shield this mother from the thoughts that torment her. Place people in her path who can offer help and hope. Provide for every financial need, and bring healing to these rifts. There is a healing balm in Gilead, and a Physician there who has never failed. Your cry has come up before the throne, and the Lord has heard the groaning of your spirit. Turn your eyes from the strife and the dark whisperings of neighborly malice to the tree of life whose leaves are for the healing even of the nations. Yes, the least leaf about Christ is healing. When the household is torn with shouting and ungrateful hearts, when the seat where the father once sat is empty and the bonds of blood seem snapped by bitterness, remember that the Great Healer still takes men by the hand and lifts them up. He lifted Peter’s wife’s mother from the fever, and she rose to serve Him. So shall He lift you and your mother, your brother and all who will look to Him. But note this: healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. First forgiveness, then healing. You speak of forgiving them daily as your Lord forgives, and that is well, for he who has been forgiven much must forgive. Yet I urge you, go further: beseech the Lord to shed abroad the love of God in every heart. The root of the shouting, the fighting for authority, the ingratitude, it is the fever of sin, and only Christ’s touch can cool that burning forehead. Your mother’s heavy thoughts and toxic tongue are symptoms of a deeper malady; she needs no mere cheering word but the inworking of Him who binds up the broken in heart and healeth all their wounds. The Lord Jesus comes to those who are sick, not to those who think themselves whole.

Pray much, and pray with expectation, for “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” That promise is as sure today as when the jailor trembled. The power that accompanied Christ’s teaching is still present when His Word is heard with heedful ears. Sit under the preaching of the cross, and as faith comes, the healing virtue will flow. The distance and the costly tickets may hinder a family reunion, but no earthly barrier can stop the Spirit of God from uniting hearts in Him. And as for the false words of sorcery and malice, waste no strength in rebuking them; set your gaze on Jesus, and the shadows will flee. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. The very leaves of that tree, the smallest mercies, the humblest promises, carry health to your soul. One day, you shall meet your father in the presence of the Heavenly Father, where no harsh word enters. Until then, let your present trial become a holy school where you learn more of the tender, forbearing love of Christ. Call upon His name, seek His face, and ask that this family may yet be a household of praise, where each one, healed and forgiven, rises to minister to the others. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and give you peace.

Your household is torn by division, and you cry out for deliverance from what you perceive as external malice. But consider the teaching of the Gospel: every conflict, every envy, every bitter word springs not from without but from the root of worldly affections. Cut away the love of self, the grasping for control, the love of money that made even a disciple of the Lord a traitor, and the fruit of strife will wither. The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword; let it pierce your hearts and discern the thoughts within.

You speak of forgiveness, yet the spirit of offense still reigns. Truly forgive from the heart, as you have been forgiven, and do not wait for others to repent before you show mercy. Your mother’s despair and your own anguish, these are not quenched by cursing a neighbor or dreaming of sorcery, but by casting yourselves upon the mercy of Him who came not to judge the world but to save it. He who endured betrayal by one of His own knows your sorrow.

Rise, and go to meet Him in prayer, not demanding the punishment of others but seeking the healing of your own souls. When you have peace within, the outward storms become as nothing, for Christ has overcome the world. Let this trial teach you to despise earthly honor and fleeting possessions, and to seek the treasure above, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where no enemy can snatch away. Pray for your family, not that their will be broken to yours, but that all may be humbled together under the mighty hand of God.

And remember, if after all you have done you are still unprofitable servants, how much more must you flee from vainglory and accusation? In the name of Jesus Christ, who is our peace, I commend you to the grace that is able to bind up the brokenhearted and to bring order out of chaos.

I hear the heartache behind every word, the deep longing for peace and unity among those you love most. When the home you remember becomes a place of shouting, betrayal, and painful silence after your father’s passing, the grief compounds. You are wise to keep forgiving them, even when their words and actions cut deeply. Jesus prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do,” and when you forgive day by day, you are guarding your own soul from the poison of bitterness. The enemy wants to destroy families and fill hearts with chaos, but the good news of peace declares that God can make a way where there is no human way.

Do not be dismayed that you cannot understand all that has happened. His thoughts are not your thoughts, and His ways are higher than the heavens are above the earth. He knows the end from the beginning, while we only see the present confusion. What feels like a family being exterminated by spiritual attack is not beyond His reach. The Lord knows the thoughts of each one involved, the empty imaginations, the angry impulses, the sorrowful despair, and He still rules over every circumstance. Turn your intense longing into steady prayer. Make every worry a petition, and believe that what you ask according to His will, He hears.

There are no guarantees that every healing will come instantly or in the form we expect. Some restorations are gradual, working first in the mind and emotions before we see outward change. Even the scars left by betrayal can be divinely touched. The Lord who healed some with a word and others through a process is the same Lord who can quiet your mother’s tormented thoughts and bring her soul out of that dark, suicidal place. He can replace the toxic words with a sound mind. Keep lifting her up, for His comforts delight the soul in the multitude of thoughts within. He knows the weight she carries, and He is rich in mercy.

The distance and the expense of travel may keep you physically apart, but nothing separates any of you from the convicting and healing presence of Jesus Christ. Your spouse’s disinterest cannot block what God wants to do; you cannot force love, but you can pray for a softened heart. Remember that we do not fight against flesh and blood. Pray that every lie of Satan over your family be rebuked in the name of Jesus. Pray for honesty to replace deceit, gratitude to replace ingratitude, and a spirit of service to replace the grasping for control.

Continue to trust in the promise you hold onto from Acts 16: while human outcomes may look uncertain, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ is the sure foundation for both your own salvation and your household’s eternal future. The hope of reunion is not limited to a plane ticket, it reaches into heaven itself, where all sorrow, shouting, and conflict will be swallowed up in life everlasting. Until then, cling to the greatest treasure: Jesus Himself. Do not starve your spirit by fixing your eyes only on the material lack or the dysfunction. Feast on His Word, and let the peace of Christ rule in your heart, even when the storm rages around you.

As you continue to pray and release these burdens, remember that gratitude has a unique power to make us whole. Even in this trial, bless the Lord for His faithfulness, for the hope of eternal life, and for every small evidence of His work. I am praying with you that the God of all comfort would indeed heal your family’s wounds, provide for every need, and bring you into a place of lasting peace through our Lord Jesus Christ.
