Servant of All
We join with you in prayer and we thank you for inviting us to intercede for you, and we are blessed by your desire to be rooted in the Word and to walk in obedience before the Lord.

We pray for you as Paul prayed in Colossians 1:9-14, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love, in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins. We ask the Father to make this your daily experience, to grow you in discernment and in steadfast joy.

We speak the Aaronic blessing over you from Numbers 6:24-26, Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace. We ask the Lord to keep you in His gracious hand and to let His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We intercede for you that the Lord Jesus Christ through His indwelling Holy Spirit would indeed give you a spirit of obedience and keep your heart tender and repentant before Him. We remember that Jesus said in John 14:15, If you love me, keep my commandments, and in Acts 5:32 that God has given the Holy Spirit to those who obey him. True obedience is not by our own strength but by the Spirit who dwells in us, for as it is written in Romans 8:9, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you, and in 1 Corinthians 6:19 your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. We pray that He would empower you daily to walk in humble obedience. For a repentant heart we are reminded in Psalm 51:17 that a broken and contrite heart, God, you will not despise, and in 1 John 1:9 that If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We ask the Lord to keep you sensitive to His conviction, quick to confess and to turn from sin, and to walk in the refreshing that comes as in Acts 3:19, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.

We pray in the Holy Spirit that you would put on the whole armor of God each day as we are exhorted in Ephesians 6:10-13, Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. We pray you will daily take up truth, righteousness, the preparation of the Good News of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, and pray at all times in the Spirit.

We also plead the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over your mind, soul, and spirit, thanking God that we have redemption through His blood. As it is written in Ephesians 1:7, in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, and in 1 John 1:7, the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin, and in Revelation 12:11, They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood. We ask that His blood would cover and cleanse your thoughts, guard your soul, and seal your spirit, and that you would walk in the assurance that you are purchased and protected by Him.

We rejoice that you have called upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We thank God for your faith in Him.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will, bless and keep them, cause Your face to shine upon them and give them Your peace. Grant them a spirit of joyful obedience and a continually repentant heart that loves Your correction. Clothe them daily in the whole armor of God so they may stand firm against every scheme of the enemy, and cover their mind, soul, and spirit with the precious blood of Jesus, cleansing, guarding, and strengthening them. Let them walk in the power of Your indwelling Holy Spirit, bearing fruit and growing in the knowledge of You, to Your glory. In the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

Thank you for letting us continue to pray with you, and for sharing so clearly what is on your heart. We hear your longing to walk closely with the Lord, to stay tender before Him, and to be covered and strengthened by Him each day. We are honored to lift those exact requests you named.

What encouraged us is how you described obedience and a repentant heart together. In our own walk we have found repentance is less about staying in sorrow and more about a quiet change of direction, turning toward the Lord and choosing His way again. And obedience grows the same way, not by trying harder in our own strength for a moment, but by training over time as we stay near Him.

That is why your prayer for the Holy Spirit's help means so much. Growth is gradual and often uneven, with highs and lows, and it happens as we keep coming back to the Word, to prayer, and to worship, inviting the Spirit to do what only He can do in us. If it helps, a simple next step is to keep a brief, steady time each day to ask Him to search your heart, to teach you, and to clothe you in Christ for whatever the day holds.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Grant a willing and obedient spirit and a heart that stays soft and quick to turn to You. Cover mind, soul and spirit with the shed blood of Jesus, guard and keep this dear one in Your peace, and strengthen each step to walk in Your will today. Amen.

Your request has been received with thankfulness and we count it a privilege to bear you before the throne of grace in prayer.

We will pray for you according to the scriptures you have named. Our prayer from Colossians 1:9 to 15 is that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all might according to His glorious power unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness, giving thanks unto the Father who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, who has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, in whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

And we will pray over you the blessing of Numbers 6:24 to 26, that the Lord bless you and keep you, that the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you, that the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. This is the peace which comes not from man but from God Himself looking upon you in Christ.

You ask for a spirit of obedience and a repentant heart through the indwelling Holy Spirit, and for this we will earnestly intercede. True repentance is always the gift of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in the soul, and that godly sorrow which the Spirit produces is the sure attendant of saving faith. We will ask the Lord to renew your heart, for the heart is the seat of blindness and there lies the darkness which beclouds the whole mind, and to the heart the light must come. When God renews the heart it admires the character of God and loves His holiness, and then obedience follows not as the obedience of a slave tuned to the crack of the whip, but as the obedience of a child, the obedience of love and of faith. Faith is the morning star of obedience, and the exactness of obedience is the very essence of obedience. May the Lord grant you grace to give Him your whole heart at once and thoroughly, for a heart that is halved is killed, and to run in the way of His commandments with prompt and cheerful willingness, keeping and seeking all the commandments of the Lord your God as revealed in His Word.

We will also pray in the Holy Spirit that you may put on the whole armour of God according to Ephesians 6:10 to 13, that you may be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, able to stand against the wiles of the devil and having done all, to stand. And we will plead the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over your mind, soul and spirit, not as a mere form of words, but trusting in that precious blood in which alone is redemption and forgiveness, that you may be kept by His power, washed and cleansed and preserved blameless. It is by that blood we have boldness to enter into the holiest, and by that blood alone we are accepted.

May the Lord hear our supplication for you, teach you His statutes, and cause you to live in God and on God and with God, to His glory.
