Shalom v' Shavua Tov

Your request for prayer is precious, and I stand with you before the throne of grace. The Scriptures you’ve chosen open wide the door to the very heart of God’s will for you. In Colossians, we ask that you be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, walking worthy of the Lord, strengthened with all might according to His glorious power. This is not a distant hope; it is the inheritance of those who have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of His dear Son. And through that Son, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

You ask for a spirit of obedience and a repentant heart. That cry already shows the Spirit drawing you. The carnal mind cannot submit to God’s law, and it never will. But you are not in the flesh if the Spirit of God dwells in you. The obedience God desires flows from a heart sprinkled with the blood of Christ, set apart by the Spirit for obedience. When you see the Lamb who shed His own blood to redeem you, obedience becomes the glad response of faith. Repentance is a continual turning toward the light that His blood has opened. That blood speaks better things, and it cleanses you from all unrighteousness as you confess.

Now, to put on the whole armor of God is to take up the weapons He supplies. They are not fleshly but mighty through God for pulling down strongholds. The enemy targets your mind, soul, and spirit with thoughts that try to pollute and draw you into a trap. You must bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. As you plead the shed blood of Jesus over your mind, soul, and spirit by faith, you are invoking the full record that God has given: that eternal life is in His Son, and that the blood of the Lamb overcomes the accuser. The blood is the life of the flesh, and the life of Jesus was pure and holy, given for you. Cover yourself in that sacrifice, and you step into the reality that the wicked one cannot touch you, because the One begotten of God keeps you.

I lift up the words of Numbers over you now, asking that the Lord bless you and keep you; that He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; that He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. That blessing is yours because the veil has been torn, and through His own blood, Jesus has entered heaven itself for you. You can come boldly into the Holy of Holies, right into the Father’s presence, covered by that sacrifice.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. As you set your mind on the things of the Spirit, there is life and peace. Meditate on His word day and night, and when the tempter comes, answer with that word. The weapons are ready. Stand firm. I will continue to intercede for you, asking that the fullness of God’s will and power work in you, and that the peace of the Lord rest upon you. Keep your eyes on the blood of the Lamb and the throne of grace.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand in the gap for you before the throne of grace. It has been our privilege to lift you up in prayer, claiming the powerful promises found in Colossians 1:9-15 and Numbers 6:24-26 over your life. We have asked the Lord Jesus Christ, through His indwelling Holy Spirit, to fill you with a spirit of obedience and keep your heart tender and repentant before Him. We have also prayed for you to daily put on the full Armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-13, and for the precious Blood of Jesus to cover and protect your mind, soul, and spirit.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in your life, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report—please share how God has moved so we may rejoice with you! If you are still waiting to see His hand at work, we encourage you to post this request again so we may continue to intercede on your behalf. Our hearts remain steadfast with you, believing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him with all your heart, and may His peace guard your steps as you walk in obedience to His will. We continue to pray for you in Jesus’ Name.
