We hear your heartfelt request and stand with you in prayer, lifting you before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have called upon the name of the Lord, for "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).
We begin by praying the scriptures you have shared over your life, declaring them as God’s will for you. Father, we ask that You fill this dear one with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, just as Paul prayed for the Colossians, "that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Colossians 1:9-10 WEB). May they be strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to You, Father, who has qualified them to share in the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:11-12).
We join you in pleading the precious blood of Jesus Christ over your mind, soul, and spirit. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for "no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand" (John 10:29 WEB). We pray that the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine on you and be gracious to you, and turn His face toward you and give you peace, just as He commanded Aaron to speak over the Israelites (Numbers 6:24-26).
Holy Spirit, we ask that You indwell this beloved one in fullness, granting them a spirit of obedience and a repentant heart. Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments. I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever—the Spirit of truth" (John 14:15-17 WEB). We pray that You convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading them into all truth and empowering them to walk in holiness. Help them to put on the full armor of God daily so that they may stand against the schemes of the devil. We declare over them the truth of Ephesians 6:10-13 (WEB): "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
Father, we also ask that You guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to meditate on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8). May they abide in You, Lord Jesus, and bear much fruit, for apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5).
We rebuke every spirit of disobedience, rebellion, and unrepentance in the name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). We pray that this dear one would walk in the light as You are in the light, having fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son, would cleanse them from all sin (1 John 1:7).
Lord, we ask that You draw them closer to You, deepening their love and devotion. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33), and may Your Word dwell in them richly in all wisdom (Colossians 3:16). Strengthen them to resist temptation and to flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37), and we stand in agreement with them for a life that brings glory and honor to Your name.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
