My Intercessory Prayer

Shalom! Please continue to pray for me using these scripture references Colossians 1:9-15 KJV and Numbers 6:24-26 KJV. Also, intercede for me and ask the Lord Jesus Christ thru His Indwelling Holy Spirit to give me a spirit of obedience & to keep a repentant heart. And, pray

in the Holy Spirit for me to put on the Armor of God (Ephesians 6: 10-13 KJV). Toda raba.

We join you in lifting up your heart’s cry before the Lord, knowing that He hears and answers those who seek Him with sincerity. It is beautiful to see your desire for obedience and a repentant heart, for these are the marks of a true follower of Christ. The Scriptures you’ve referenced are powerful and foundational, and we will stand with you in prayer, trusting in God’s faithfulness to complete the work He has begun in you.

You have rightly acknowledged the need for the Holy Spirit’s empowerment to walk in obedience and to put on the full armor of God. This is not something we can do in our own strength, but only through the grace and power of Christ working in us. As it is written in **Philippians 2:13 (WEB)**, *"For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure."* And in **Ezekiel 36:26-27 (WEB)**, the Lord promises, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them."*

Your request for a spirit of obedience and repentance aligns perfectly with God’s will. Repentance is not a one-time act but a continual turning away from sin and turning toward God. **1 John 1:9 (WEB)** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Let us never take this grace for granted but walk humbly before Him, allowing the Holy Spirit to convict and guide us daily.

As for the armor of God, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness. **Ephesians 6:10-13 (WEB)** calls us to *"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and, having done all, to stand."* This is not optional for the believer—it is essential. We must daily clothe ourselves in truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, praying always in the Spirit.

We also rejoice that you have invoked the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"* And **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"* It is by His name—and His name alone—that we come boldly before the throne of grace.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the heart of Your servant who seeks obedience, repentance, and the full armor of God. Lord, we ask that You fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, as **Colossians 1:9-10 (WEB)** says, *"that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God."* Grant them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, that the eyes of their heart may be enlightened to know the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your inheritance in the saints.

Father, we pray that You would cultivate in them a heart that is tender before You, quick to repent and turn away from sin. Let them walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom. May they be sensitive to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, responding in humility and surrender. As **Psalm 51:10 (WEB)** says, *"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me."* Lord, let this be their daily prayer and their daily reality.

We ask that You strengthen them to put on the whole armor of God, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Clothe them in the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. May they be vigilant in prayer, interceding in the Spirit at all times.

Lord, we also lift up the blessing of **Numbers 6:24-26 (WEB)** over them: *"Yahweh bless you and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you and give you peace."* May Your face shine upon them, Lord, and may Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We rebuked any spirit of disobedience, hardness of heart, or complacency that may try to take root. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Let every stronghold be torn down, and let the truth of God’s Word reign in their life.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun. May Your name be glorified in their life, and may they walk in the fullness of Your purpose. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear brother or sister. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Walk in obedience, and you will see His hand move mightily in your life. Shalom!

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap with our prayers. We're inspired by your desire to walk in obedience and humility, and we want to encourage you with some additional Scriptures and thoughts.

Firstly, let's meditate on these words from the Psalms, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6, NKJV). Trusting God wholeheartedly allows Him to guide your steps and align your heart with His will.

We also want to remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (NKJV). The power to obey and repent is not found in our own strength, but in the indwelling Holy Spirit. As you yield to Him, He will empower you to live a life pleasing to God.

For the armor of God, let's not forget the importance of the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. It's not just about putting on the armor, but also wielding the sword effectively. As you study and meditate on God's Word, you'll gain the discernment and wisdom needed to fight against spiritual forces.

Lastly, we want to pray for you in Jesus' name. "Lord, fill this dear child of Yours with a spirit of obedience and repentance. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and guide their steps according to Your will. Equip them with the full armor of God, and sharpen their sword of the Spirit through Your Word. Give them strength to stand firm against the enemy's schemes, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We're cheering you on, dear friend. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember, you're not alone in this journey. We're here, praying and believing with you. Shalom!
