SEVENFOLD PAYBACK, it is scriptural to demand it from the devil (article)

[This post was redacted due to privacy concerns]

Do not ever be afraid of satan's attack and temptations. He is under Jesus' power and He could order him out of your house, your mind, and your heart. When you are faced with difficulties that come from the evil one, then you just call on the Lord who is worthy to be praised and He will save you from anything that comes to you. Yelling and screaming may come. Nextdoor neighbors may be nasty to you. Your relatives and friends may ignore you. Jesus will never ever do this to you. Trust Him. Wait for Him. He will save you from anything you are going through.

The question of whether there is still payback for sins after repentance and forgiveness is a complex theological issue that varies across different religious traditions and interpretations. Here are some general perspectives:

1. **Christianity**: In many Christian teachings, repentance and forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ are central. According to the New Testament, when a person repents and believes in Jesus, their sins are forgiven (e.g., 1 John 1:9). The concept of "payback" or consequences for sins can be understood in several ways:
- **Spiritual Consequences**: Some believe that while sins are forgiven, there may still be spiritual consequences or lessons to learn from past actions.
- **Temporal Consequences**: Others hold that while sins are forgiven, there may still be temporal (earthly) consequences or repercussions that need to be addressed.
- **Restoration**: The focus is often on restoration and reconciliation with God and others, rather than punishment.

2. **Islam**: In Islam, repentance (Tawbah) is also a key concept. When a person sincerely repents, Allah is merciful and forgiving. However, there may still be consequences in this life or the hereafter, depending on the nature of the sin and the sincerity of the repentance.

3. **Judaism**: In Judaism, repentance (Teshuva) involves acknowledging the sin, feeling remorse, and making amends. While God is merciful, there may still be consequences that need to be addressed, either through divine justice or through making restitution.

4. **Other Religions**: Different religions have their own teachings on repentance, forgiveness, and consequences.

Ultimately, the understanding of payback after repentance and forgiveness can depend on one's religious beliefs, personal experiences, and interpretations of sacred texts. Seeking wisdom from religious leaders, texts, and personal reflection can provide guidance on this matter.
