I have been without any income for the past year. I have health issues and had to leave my job. I have been dealing with asthma, rheumatoid arthritis/gout, glaucoma, sleep apnea, degenerative disc in lower back, hypertention, sarcoids of the lungs and skin, anxiety and depression. I have applied for my social security disability which I am being told it usually takes over two years before they give you an approval. I have gotten an attorney to handle my claim. We are waiting to go before a judge but am being told it could take twelve or eighteen more months before a date for the hearing is scheduled. I was paying for long term disability with the company I was working for. When I was no longer able to work they denied my claim and my job was terminated. I got an attorney to help resolve this matter. I was told today that the company I worked for has offered a settlement. I am not sure what it is yet. I have an appointment on November 22 with the attorney. Not having any income I had to give everything I owned away due to no funds to pay rent. Please pray that the settlement will be my back disability and they will give my this income for the term my insurance was for. Which I believe is until the age of 65 so that will be for a term of 8 more years.
