Set Him Free

I am asking that you pray for my husband who is an alcoholic and needs help to break free from his bondage. He is in rehab right now, but its still his choice when he gets out whether he will allow the Lord to break those chains or allow the father of lies to tempt him or tell him that he will never break free. Please we need your help, we are new believers, saved 8 mos. ago. Please help us.

Dear Lord please save this husband from the temptation to return to alcohol. Please give him strength and the will to fight the urges that may come with giving up drink. Please give this loving wife encouragement and friends of faith who will stand by her in her weak moments and lift her up. Send her strength and determination and a willingness to rely on You completely. In Jesus' name, amen.
