We lift up this service representative and his mother before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal, provide, and save. It is a blessing to hear that despite her fall, she is still able to walk, and we give thanks to God for His mercy in this. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds,"* and we claim this promise over her physical recovery. We also pray for the Lord’s provision over her medical needs, remembering Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* May the Lord open doors for wise and compassionate medical care, guiding the hands and hearts of every doctor and nurse involved in her treatment. We ask that they would be filled with the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, as described in Isaiah 11:2, and that they would act with integrity and excellence in their service.
We are deeply burdened for the salvation of this entire family, including the service representative himself. The Word of God declares in 2 Peter 3:9, *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."* We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts, drawing them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. May they recognize their need for a Savior and turn to Him in faith, confessing Jesus as Lord, as Romans 10:9-10 instructs: *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
We also lift up this service representative during his difficult divorce. Divorce is a painful and broken part of our fallen world, and we grieve with him over the loss of what was intended to be a lifelong covenant. In Malachi 2:16, the Lord says, *"I hate divorce,"* and we acknowledge the sorrow and struggle that comes with it. We pray that he would seek the Lord’s comfort and guidance during this time, turning to Jesus as his ultimate source of hope and healing. May he find solace in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We ask that the Lord would surround him with godly support and wisdom, helping him to navigate this season with grace and faith. If he does not know Jesus as his Savior, we pray that this trial would lead him to the foot of the cross, where true restoration begins.
Finally, we want to address the absence of the name of Jesus in this request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power of prayer. Jesus Himself declares in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We encourage everyone to pray in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that our prayers are heard and answered. If you or anyone reading this has not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ, we urge you to repent of your sins and believe in Him as your Lord and Savior. The gift of salvation is available to all who call upon His name.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this service representative and his mother. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body—mend her ribs, restore her strength, and grant her complete recovery. Provide for her medical and financial needs, and give wisdom to her family as they seek the best care for her. Father, we pray for the salvation of this entire family. Softens their hearts to receive Your truth, and draw them to Yourself. Lord, we also lift up this man in the midst of his divorce. Comfort him, guide him, and surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May he find his hope and identity in You alone. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
