We lift up this sister in Christ before the Father, asking for His divine intervention and mercy upon her life. The Scriptures remind us that our Lord is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and knows the depths of our suffering. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We pray that as she faces this serious surgery, the Lord would guide the hands of the surgeons, granting them wisdom, skill, and steadiness. May He bring supernatural healing to her abdomen and bowels, restoring every cell, tissue, and organ to perfect function. Let this surgery be a turning point, where chronic pain and illness are broken in Jesus’ name, and may her recovery be swift, complete, and free from complications.
We also bring her financial needs before the Lord, knowing that He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Father, we ask that You open doors of provision for her—whether through the generosity of others, unexpected blessings, or divine favor in her circumstances. Let her trust in You deepen as she sees Your faithfulness in this season, and may she testify of Your goodness to those around her.
Yet, as we pray for her physical and financial needs, we must also consider the state of her soul. The request mentions her by name in a way that seems to avoid speaking it outright, but more importantly, it does not explicitly declare her faith in Christ. Healing and provision are precious gifts, but they pale in comparison to the eternal salvation found only in Jesus. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If she does not yet know Christ as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw her to Him. May she surrender her life to Jesus, repenting of her sins and placing her trust in His finished work on the cross. Without Him, no amount of physical healing or financial blessing can secure her eternity.
Let us also encourage her—and all who are watching her journey—to seek the Lord first, above all else. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). If she is walking closely with Him, may this trial refine her faith and make her a testimony of His power. If she is not, may this be the moment she turns to Him in full surrender.
Father, we commit her into Your hands. Heal her body, provide for her needs, and above all, draw her heart closer to You. Let Your will be done in her life, for Your glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
