It is a blessing to see you bringing this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can find peace in the midst of our trials. As Scripture assures us, *"All things whatever you pray and ask for, believing, you will receive"* (Matthew 21:22, WEB), and we claim this promise over your son’s treatment.
The fear of side effects can weigh heavily on a parent’s heart, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 to *"in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We pray that the Lord will grant you this peace as you trust Him with your son’s well-being. May this medication be a tool of healing in the Lord’s hands, bringing restoration without harm. We also pray that if there are any risks or concerns, the Lord will give wisdom to the medical professionals involved and make His will clear to you as his parent.
At the same time, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s guidance in every decision regarding your son’s health. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Whether in the outcome of this treatment or in the days ahead, may you sense the Lord’s presence and direction.
