It is good and right that you have come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture reminds us, *"All things whatever you pray and ask for, believing, you will receive"* (Matthew 21:22, WEB). We claim this promise now, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.
The fear of side effects from medication can weigh heavily on a parent’s heart, but we are called to cast all our anxieties upon the Lord, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). While medicine can be a tool God uses for healing, our ultimate trust must rest in Him alone. *"The Lord sustains him on his sickbed. You turn all his bed in his sickness"* (Psalm 41:3, WEB). We pray that this injection would serve its intended purpose—bringing relief, restoration, and no harm to your son’s body. May the Lord guard his mind, strength, and every organ, ensuring that no adverse reaction takes hold. If there are any lingering fears or uncertainties, we ask the Holy Spirit to replace them with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
We also encourage you to continue covering your son in prayer, not just for physical protection but for spiritual strength. This trial is an opportunity to draw closer to God as a family, trusting Him in all things. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding.
