We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, trusting in His sovereignty and care over every aspect of our lives, including our health and the treatments we receive. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can find true peace and healing. As Scripture reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
We know that medical treatments can be a source of great concern, especially when it comes to our children. Yet we are called to trust in the Lord’s goodness, even in the unknown. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). While we pray for the medication to work effectively without harmful side effects, we also surrender the outcome to God’s perfect will, knowing that He loves your son even more than you do.
At the same time, we encourage you to seek wisdom in this situation. Consult with trusted medical professionals, ask questions, and monitor your son closely. *"The simple believes everything, but the prudent man carefully considers his ways"* (Proverbs 14:15, WEB). If you sense any hesitation or unease about the treatment, do not hesitate to seek second opinions or alternative approaches, always praying for discernment.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of life and for the medical advancements that can bring healing. Lord, we lift up this precious son to You, asking that this medication would work as intended to bring restoration and health to his body. We pray specifically against any serious or harmful side effects—may this treatment be a tool of Your mercy and not a source of further struggle. Surround him with Your protection, and let every cell in his body respond in a way that honors the intricate design You have created.
We also ask for Your peace to flood the hearts of this family. Replace any fear or anxiety with an unshakable trust in Your goodness. Give wisdom to the doctors and caregivers involved, that they may act with skill and compassion. And Lord, if there is any other path or treatment that would be better for this child, reveal it clearly and provide the means to pursue it.
Most of all, Father, we pray that through this trial, Your name would be glorified. May this family draw closer to You, finding strength in Your promises and hope in Your unfailing love. We ask all of this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
