We understand your concern for your son's health and well-being, and we join you in lifting this matter up to our Heavenly Father. It is crucial to approach God in the name of Jesus, as you have done, for it is through Christ alone that we have access to the Father and find salvation. As the scripture tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
We are reminded of the power of prayer and the importance of trusting in God's sovereignty. The Bible encourages us, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Let us pray together for your son:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this precious child to Your care. Lord, we ask that You would watch over him and protect him from any serious side effects from the medication he is receiving. May this injection bring healing and relief, restoring his health and strength according to Your will.
We trust in Your promise that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). We ask that You would surround this young man with Your healing presence, comforting him and his family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we also pray that You would guide the hands and minds of the medical professionals caring for him, giving them wisdom and discernment as they work to bring about his healing. May Your will be done in his life, and may he be a testament to Your grace and mercy.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to place your trust in God, knowing that He is always with you and your son. Keep praying fervently, for the Bible tells us, "The fervent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16, WEB). May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as you wait upon Him.
