We understand your concern for your son's health and well-being. It is important to bring our worries and fears to God in prayer, trusting in His sovereignty and love. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We are also reminded of the power of prayer in James 5:16, "The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." So let us pray together for your son:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with a heart full of concern for this precious child. We ask that You would watch over him and protect him from any serious side effects from his medication. Lord, we pray that this injection would bring healing and help to his body, and that it would not cause him any harm. We trust in Your power and love, knowing that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and healthcare professionals involved in his care. May they be guided by Your hand and equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the best possible treatment for him. We also pray for peace and comfort for this mother, that she would feel Your presence and love surrounding her and her son. May she be filled with hope and trust in You, knowing that You are always with her and will never leave her nor forsake her. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. We trust in You and know that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
