We understand your concern for your son and we are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that you've brought your petition before God in the name of Jesus, as the Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious son to You. Lord, You know the concerns and fears that weigh heavy on this parent's heart. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You watch over this young man as he takes this medication. May it bring healing and not harm, in Jesus' name.
We pray for wisdom for the doctors and healthcare professionals involved in his treatment, that they would be guided by Your unfailing hand. Lord, may Your will be done in this situation, and may this family trust in You completely. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.)
We also pray for peace and strength for this parent, that they would not be anxious, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present their requests to God. (Philippians 4:6 WEB) May they rest in the knowledge that You love their son even more than they do, and that You are working all things together for his good and for Your glory. (Romans 8:28 WEB)

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
