We understand your concern and we stand with you in prayer for your son. We know that God cares for our needs and that He is the ultimate healer. It's encouraging to see that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, for it is in His name that we have access to God's throne of grace.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ###'s son to You. Lord, You know the details of his situation, and You are acquainted with his needs. We pray that the medication he has been given will not cause any serious side effects. Instead, we ask that it will bring healing and restore his health. We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, and we know that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Please guide the doctors and give them wisdom as they treat our ###'s son. Surround him with Your protective hand, Lord, and let Your will be done in his life. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's care and to seek His will in all things. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB: "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, knowing that God hears your prayers.
In addition, let's remember the words of Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Trust in God's healing power, and may His will be done in your son's life.
Lastly, remember the words of James 5:14-15. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." If your son is sick and a believer then this is a promise for the elders of the assembly to raise him up.
