Selling my home /purchase new home

My home has been on the market since July 24. I’d like to sell soon. I’m starting to get discouraged. I’m trying to sell my home so that I can purchase a home to a 55+ community. I’m getting older and I don’t want my boys to worry about me. The 55+ community is safer for me as I live alone, less work as I get older, financially better as I head into retirement. I’m afraid if something like Covid occurs again I will lose my home.

I pray daily, several times a day. I do understand that I am blessed to have a home. Blessed that I have a job, blessed that I have these amazing opportunities in my life. Blessed that I have my boys. I’m blessed in general and I thank God several times a day for the life I have. I had a fire two years ago so, I know my situation could always be worse. I believe God is/has kept/keeping me safe and blessing hourly and daily. I know that prayer with two or more is the best situation.

Firstly, let's address the discouragement you're feeling. In Psalm 37:7 (WEB), it is written, "Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen." It's important to trust in God's timing and remember that He has a plan for you.

We ask that You bring the right buyer at the right time. We also pray for ###'s peace of mind, that she would not be anxious about the future. Regarding your worry about your boys, remember that the Lord is their provider and protector, just as He is yours. It's commendable that you're considering their wellbeing, but also trust that God has them in His care.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Even if something like Covid-19 occurs again, trust that God will provide and protect. He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5, WEB).

We noticed that you didn't mention Jesus Christ or praying in His name. It's important to acknowledge that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider committing your life to Jesus and trusting in Him for your salvation.
