We hear your heart’s desire for a new home that brings safety, peace, and joy, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s provision and wisdom in this matter. The Scriptures remind us, "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). This truth calls us to surrender our plans, finances, and even our desires to the Lord, trusting that He knows what is best for us far beyond what we can see.

Your request for the owner to be reasonable and for your current home to sell quickly is understandable, but we must also examine our own hearts. Are we fully trusting God’s timing and provision, or are we leaning on our own understanding of what is "affordable" or "reasonable"? Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." The Lord may have a different house in mind for you, one that is even better suited to His purposes for your life, or He may be refining your faith through this waiting period.

We also want to gently address the mention of "Abba Father" without acknowledging the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He Himself declared: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Salvation and relationship with God are found in no other name. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all other prayers and requests are built.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one’s desire for a new home, asking that You would align their heart with Yours. Lord, You know the longings of their heart, and You care deeply about their need for safety, peace, and provision. We ask that You would give them clarity in these next three days, as they seek Your will. If this house is part of Your plan, we pray that You would soften the owner’s heart to be reasonable and that You would open doors no one can shut. If it is not Your will, we ask that You would close this door gently and reveal the home You have prepared for them.

Father, we also pray for the sale of their current home. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You. Provide a buyer who will offer a fair price, and let this transaction be smooth and timely, according to Your perfect timing. Guard their heart from anxiety or impatience, and help them to rest in Your promises.

Lord, we ask that You would remind them daily of Your faithfulness. When doubts or fears arise, let them recall Your Word: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). May they walk in faith, not by sight, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, lack, or confusion that may be trying to cloud their mind. We declare that the Lord is their Provider, their Shield, and their Peace. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way during this season, knowing that You are with them always.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

As you wait on the Lord, we encourage you to meditate on His promises and seek His wisdom through prayer and reading His Word. Consider fasting if you feel led, as it can sharpen your spiritual focus and draw you closer to God. Remember, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). This does not mean He will give you everything you want, but as you delight in Him, He will align your desires with His perfect will.

If the Lord does not open the door to this house, do not be discouraged. Trust that He is protecting you from something you cannot yet see or preparing something even better. Keep your heart open to His leading, and continue to seek Him above all else. He is faithful, and His plans for you are good.

Longing for a safe, peaceful home for the years ahead is deeply understandable, and we can hear how heavy it feels to have found a house you like while the price is still higher than you can manage, and your present house has not yet sold.

Carrying both hopes at once while wanting clarity in just a few days can create a lot of pressure. We are standing with you in that tension and asking God to give you steady wisdom rather than a rushed answer.

One practical step that often helps in this kind of moment is to get the numbers very clear on paper and invite wise counsel in. If you haven't already, consider writing out the highest total you can truly afford with all the added costs included, and reviewing it with a trusted real estate agent or financial adviser who knows your local market. Having that settled boundary beforehand can make conversations with the owner calmer and help you recognize more quickly whether this is the door God is opening or whether He is inviting you to wait for another provision.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this need to You. You know the home our friend has in mind and the sale they are waiting for. We ask for clear wisdom in these next days, for Your gracious provision according to Your will, and for peace while You lead. Guard them from haste and guide them to the safe, peaceful place You have for them. Amen.

We have heard your prayer concerning your present house and your desire for a new and peaceful home, and we join with you in bringing it before our heavenly Father.

We pray that the Lord who guides His people with His counsel will grant you clarity in these coming days, and that you may bow with submission to His will, for by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. Haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, so we ask that even as you seek an answer within three days, you may be kept from anxious haste and enabled to wait upon the Lord's timing, trusting that He knows what dwelling is best for your future peace and safety.

We ask our Father in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, that if it be His good pleasure, He would open the way for the sale of your present house in His providence, and incline the heart of the owner of the house you desire to be reasonable, so that you may obtain it at a price you can afford. Yet we pray above all that you may be led to seek first that better buying of which the Scripture speaks, to buy the truth and sell it not, and to come as one who has no money and yet may buy without money by free grace. For hearing of good things is not buying, and we desire that you may not only hear of Christ but possess Him, for He is the true treasure at any price.

Remember that here we are pilgrims, and a pilgrim's business is to be on the road pressing forward to the home beyond. The Lord is building us as a house in process of erection, and He will bring forth the top stone with grace. While we ask Him for an earthly house that is safe and peaceful, we pray that your chief home may be found in Him, and that whether He grants this particular house or prepares another for you, you may know His sealing presence and His guidance to glory, for He has promised to guide you with His counsel and afterward receive you to glory.

So we commend you to Him now.

Abba Father, we thank You that we may come through Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask for Your merciful provision for this dear one who seeks to sell and to buy. Grant wisdom, peace, and contentment in Your will. Provide a safe dwelling according to Your goodness, make the way plain, and give a quiet heart to trust Your miracle power and Your perfect counsel. Let Your will be done in this matter as in all things, and let Christ be more precious than any earthly possession. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before our Father in the name of Jesus Christ. You have asked Him to help you sell your present house soon, to provide a safe and peaceful new home that you can afford, to move the heart of the owner to be reasonable in price, and to give you clarity within these three days. I will pray with you for these things according to His will and His wisdom.

Scripture reminds us that while we seek an earthly house, we have a greater hope. If the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Our Lord also said, in My Father's house are many mansions. He is master of the house and all things are His. To seek a home on earth is not wrong, but we are to remember that our deepest security and peace are not in walls and roofs, but in dwelling with the Lord both now and forever. Pray therefore not only for a house that pleases you, but for a home where Christ is honored and where you may live in peace with Him.

As you go through this buying and selling, keep your heart free from covetousness and deceit. The Scriptures warn that dishonesty often enters into buying and selling, when we try to pay less than what is just or to gain advantage over our neighbor. Seek what is fair and honest before God, both in selling your present house and in offering for the new one. Do not let the love of gain or the anxiety for more possessions take hold of you. As it is written, having food and clothing let us be content. Even the Apostle Paul paid rent for the house where he lived and was content to live simply, looking not for display but for faithfulness. Ask God to give you a reasonable price, but also ask Him to keep you honest and generous and free from grasping.

So let us pray together. Abba Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You. You know this need for a home and the desire for safety and peace in the days to come. You know the house that has been seen and the price that seems too high, and You know the need to sell the present house. We ask that if it is Your will, You would open the way for a fair and honest agreement, that You would give favor with the owner and wisdom to all involved, and that You would provide clarity as requested. Grant peace in waiting and guidance in deciding, and let Your will be done above our own wishes. Provide not only an earthly dwelling, but keep our hearts set on the eternal house You have prepared for those who trust in Your Son. We trust Your power to provide and Your goodness to lead. Your request for wisdom about selling your present house and finding a new, safe and peaceful home is heard, and I am praying with you to our Father through Jesus Christ.

The Scriptures remind us that every house and every family stands only by the mercy of God. When God spoke through the prophet Hosea, He showed that the northern kingdom had continued only because He was merciful, and when that mercy was withdrawn judgment came. At the same time He promised to have mercy on Judah and to save them not by bow or sword or horses, but by the Lord their God Himself. That truth is for you today. The sale of a house and the purchase of another will not finally be secured by bargaining skill or market strength, but by the Lord's own hand as you trust Him. He is able to move hearts, including an owner's heart to be reasonable, and He is able to open the right door at the right time.

Scripture also warns about what can happen to a house that is meant for God. Bethel means house of God, the place where Jacob first met the Lord and knew His presence. Later that same place was called Beth-Avon, house of idols, because a golden calf was set up there and the people turned a place of worship into a place of idolatry. A home is a good gift, but it can quietly become an idol if all of our hope and peace is placed in getting the exact house we want at the exact price we want. God invites you back to that first meeting place with Him, to make your home first a house of prayer. Jesus said His Father's house is to be a house of prayer. Bring this decision there before anything else, and ask above all that your heart stays faithful to Him whether the answer comes in three days or over a longer season.

God's desire toward His people is to heal and to restore. Even when He saw corruption and unfaithfulness in the house of Israel, His word was, when I would have healed Israel. He looks for righteousness and right dealing in His vineyard. As you walk through this process, sow with integrity. Be truthful about your present house, be fair in your offers, and trust that whatever you sow you will reap. That steady faithfulness honors Him more than any quick transaction.

I also remember the picture Jesus gave of the father who watched for his returning son and ran to meet him while he was still far off. Your Father sees you, knows your need for clarity and provision, and His compassion does not fail.

Let us pray together. Abba Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this need to You. You know the longing for a safe and peaceful home and the burden of the present house that needs to be sold. Give clear wisdom and peace in the coming days, and help to know Your will. If it is Your will for this particular house, soften the heart of the owner and make the price fair and attainable. If not, close that door gently and guide to the home You have prepared. Provide a buyer for the present house in Your timing and in a way that is honest and good. Keep this dear one's heart from making any house an idol, and keep their trust rooted in You alone, who saves not by human strength but by Your own mercy and power. Grant calm, guidance, and contentment to wait for Your best. Amen.

Continue to seek Him first, stay in prayer and in the Word, and seek godly counsel as you take practical steps. The Lord who is merciful and who hears will lead you step by step.
